Ocracoke Amberjack Fishing Charters

Let us take you to one of the many WW2 ship wrecks off our coast. There we will use live baits, jig, or bounce the bottom for a variety of species. This is a very hands on experience and a total blast!!

Head offshore to the worlds Blue Marlin capital of the world to target the legendary Blue Marlin, White Marlin, Sailfish, Yellowfin Tuna, Bluefin Tuna, Mahi Mahi, and more. All fishing gear for the day are provided, along with the fishing license for the group. You'll need to bring your own food and drink. You'll also need sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat.

On this trip, you'll start out catching fresh live bait to be used for Cobia, Sharks, and Amberjacks. You'll spend the first part of the trip live baiting and jigging and the last part of the trip bottom fishing for Seabass, Triggerfish, and Snapper. From time to time, you may even hook into a Mahi Mahi if they're in the area. At the end of the trip, you'll generally troll on the way home fishing for King Mackerel and False Albacore. This is not a Gulf Stream trip—this is a 10 hour trip.

This is a Gulfstream offshore trip in the fish-rich waters of Hatteras targeting Mahi Mahi, Tuna, Wahoo, Marlin, and anything else that might want to bite the lines. No spray sunscreen is allowed on board. This trip will be 10-12 hours long or shorter if you would like to return to the dock earlier. Pack your lunch and planty of water and join use for the offshore trip of a lifetime!

This 11-hour adventure is reserved for hard-core anglers! You start very early in the morning and head out offshore. This is the best chance to target Tuna, Sailfish, Wahoo, Mahi Mahi, and many other big game species. Your fishing equipment is fully covered.

This extended trip gives you more time to catch your lunch, with more possibilities of switching places if the fish won't bite. All equipment is covered by the crew, just bring your food and drinks.

Trolling for Mahi, Wahoo, and Tuna, and/or bottom fishing for Seabass, Snapper, and Triggerfish on natural hard bottom reefs. You might also do jigging or live bait fishing on shipwrecks, depending on the conditions which vary daily on account of the strong Gulf Stream current. Avid anglers with gear are advised to consult the captain as to what works best here. Bottom fishing is limited by regulations and strong current.

Whether you want to spend your day aboard the “Longer Days” enjoying the chase of the Gulf Stream's big bites, (Blue Marlin, Tuna, Mahi, Wahoo, White Marlin and Sailfish), by trolling, jigging, or bottom fishing our crew will ensure your experience is one of the best.

We stay in the calm waters of the sound or depending on the weather, will head out into the ocean, catching drum, speckled trout, flounder, spanish mackeral and whatever else the ocean might bring us that day. If the weather is cooperating that day, we can mix it up and do both sound an ocean. A full day trip is a great way to catch a variety of fish and allows the Capt. time to try various spots.
