Dauphin Island Skipjack Fishing Charters

So you want to cut your teeth in our saltwater fishery? Well during our 2 hour intro to fishing trip, you will get a quick look at You'll be targeting trout, redfish, mackerel, sheepshead and some of the other inshore species. You will get the crash course on our fishery and the inshore species, but don't count out catching 'the big one' we will be fishing some of the same spots our longer tours see.

Enjoy a morning on the water and spend 2 hours targeting Speck, Redfish, White Trout, and Spanish Mackerel. The captain provides all the fishing equipment and licenses, as well as catch cleaning. The trip can also start at 9:00 a.m. if you prefer. Maximum of 4 people!

We leave from Dauphin Island Marina or pick up at Fort Morgan. Licenses, bait, ice, and bottled water are supplied. Trips are available 7 days a week when weather permits. Six customers is the legal limit for a trip.

This is our longest trip with travel up to 90 miles offshore. This includes heavy tackle and electric reels. Targeted species include Golden Tile, Yellowedge Grouper, Snowy Grouper, Beeliner, Snapper, Sharks, Mahi, Scamp, and more. This is a flexible trip package so the targets can vary depending on what you are looking for!

This is a 'lets just go fishing' trip! If you just want just go catch fish, this is the trip for you! On this trip we don't focus on catching limits, just catching whatever wants to bite! We travel between 8 and 12 miles offshore! If we get a keeper, it goes in the cooler but the majority of fish caught are released due to seasons, size, and creel limits! DISCLAIMER: This is not a fill the cooler or fill the freezer trip! It's a cost effective trip for folks who just want get off the beach and fish!

You will be fishing close to shore around reef’s and rigs for seasonal saltwater action. The best thing about fishing in the gulf the next fish you catch could be a fish of a lifetime.

Rise with the sun and meet up with Capt. Mike to go after all the most popular local fish species. You can expect Flounder, Redfish, and Speckled Trout at the end of the line, and if you go trolling, then both King and Spanish Mackerel are on the menu.

This trip will allow you enough time to hopefully have opportunities for some fish and some water fun.

We will fish till we make the best box possible!
