Cudjoe Key Cobia Fishing Charters

Fishing for a large variety of inshore and nearshore fish species according to the season. The Florida Keys National Marine sanctuary was created in 1990 and protects more than 2900 square nautical miles of the coastal and ocean waters. While fishing, enjoy watching a vast array of birds like the great blue heron, brown pelican, frigate bird, and fish-eating osprey. This is a 4-hour charter. With 2 high tides and 2 low tides every day, fishing is just as productive as our trips.

This trip involves fishing the backcountry and inshore waters near Key West. You will usually stay within 9 nautical miles of the dock. The average depth of the water is around 12'. Expect to stay within 9 miles of the dock.

When the sun starts to sink into the horizon the shark around the Florida Keys rise for their evening feast. Captain Craig will take you out at dusk to see if any of the Bull or Blacktip Sharks that roam the water are willing to chase after his lures. If they do, expect a tremendous and thrilling battle as you try to whisk them out of the water for the ultimate trophy photo!

The full day is yours to choose from! We can fish in the morning. Catch dinner! Relax and snorkel on the key reef in the afternoon! Cold beers by the sandbar in the late afternoon! Or we can fish all day! Your choosing!

With extra time to fish, we can run offshore, target reefs and wrecks, and adjust our plan throughout the day depending on conditions. Species are seasonal and not guaranteed.
