Topsail Beach Cobia Fishing Charters

On this charter we target the areas inside of 30 miles. We target king mackerel, cobia , mahi, black seabass, snapper and groupers. We start our day off trolling, then go to bottom fish for a wide variety of fish to fill your cooler. Drinking Waters are always avaiable but Bring sumscreen and a cooler with snacks and other beverages, and to bring your fish home.

A full day allows for more time to get to the offshore fishing grounds at up to 30 miles out. You will be targeting larger Kingfish, Mahi Mahi, Sailfish and other game fish.

Stay in the inshore or nearshore waters up to 5 miles from the coastline. You'll spend 5 hours going after exciting species such as King and Spanish Mackerel, Bluefish, Cobia, and even Sharks. Try bottom fishing and jigging and you may just get to take a tasty treat home with you.

This is a trip for the hardcore fisherman. You'll run offshore (weather and seas permitting) from 25 to 40 miles, looking for the warm, blue water of the Gulf Stream. You'll be chasing Mahi Mahi, King Mackerel, and maybe even Sailfish. It's a very long day, but rewarding!

With this trip your range is extended out to around 30 miles weather permitting. We will be in more productive waters for slow trolling, bottom fishing and wreck fishing for species such as King Mackerel, Grouper, Snapper, Mahi Mahi, Amberjack, Barracuda and big keeper Black Sea Bass (sea bass mainly during the winter months)

An 8-hour trip within 40 nm. A wider range of target species with more time on the water! May include Amberjack, Cobia, Grouper, King Mackerel, Mahi Mahi, Porgy, Seabass, Snapper, Triggerfish, Wahoo, Tuna, and Sailfish. A Mate will accompany all fishing charters and works for tips. 20% of the total trip price is customary.

This is a chance to test your sea legs and try to angle ocean fish! Go after King Mackerel, Mahi Mahi, Amberjack, the occasional Sailfish, Snapper, Black Sea Bass, and Grouper.

On this trip, we will be heading up to 10-20 miles offshore. The tactics we will utilize on this trip will be slow trolling dead bait/lures or bump trolling and live lining live bait. For bottom fishing, we’ll use a combination of jigs and cut bait. The range of this trip allows us to pursue King Mackerel, False Albacore, Barracuda, and a shot at Mahi Mahi while trolling. Our targeted bottom fish will be Black Seabass, Grunts, Porgies, Amberjacks, and Cobia.

On this trip, up to 30 miles will be covered while trolling and bottom fishing, targeting Mahi Mahi, King Mackerel, Grouper, Grunts, Snapper, etc. This is a cooler buster for sure! **This trip will last 10 hours. The 12 hour time shown is set for a buffer**

This trip takes us offshore to the legendary Frying Pan Tower, one of the most iconic fishing landmarks along the Carolina coast. The massive steel structure and surrounding reefs create a year-round hotspot loaded with bait and predator fish. This area is alive with action and incredible variety, with opportunities to catch Amberjack, Barracuda, King Mackerel, Snapper, Grouper, Sharks, and many other bottom and pelagic species. Typically we do a mix of trolling and bottom fish the tower’s structure.
