Topsail Beach Cobia Fishing Charters

Same as our regular Half Day with an hour added.

This trip will take you trolling for Spanish and Blues right off the beaches. We also can live or cut bait fish, cast artificials, and jig for flounder. We target the inlet jetties, nearshore recks, and live bottoms inside of 10 miles. Gratuity is not included and is typically 15-20% of your trip total.

The inshore creeks and shallow waters of North Carolina are home to exceptional game fish! Go after Sharks, Cobia, Bluefish, and Mackerels, and you'll even get to take the tastiest of your catch home with you. Use all your strength to reel in one of these tough fighters on the boat during this 5-hour trip. Stay in the inshore or nearshore waters up to 5 miles from the coastline. You'll be going after exciting species such as King and Spanish Mackerel, Bluefish, Cobia, even Sharks. Fuel surcharge may apply

This is a trip for the hardcore fisherman. You'll run offshore (weather and seas permitting) from 25 to 40 miles, looking for the warm, blue water of the Gulf Stream. You'll be chasing Mahi Mahi, King Mackerel, and maybe even Sailfish. It's a very long day, but rewarding!

A 4-hour trip within 5 nm. Target species depend on the season and preferred fishing method. You may catch Cobia, King Mackerel, Spanish Mackerel, Bluefish, Black Sea Bass, Grunts, Porgies, and Sharks. A Mate will accompany all fishing charters and works for tips. 20% of the total trip price is customary.

Great for families and first-time anglers! Stays within sight of land and target Spanish Mackerel, Bluefish, Atlantic Bonita, Black Sea Bass, and other reef fish.

On this trip, up to 30 miles will be covered while trolling and bottom fishing, targeting Mahi Mahi, King Mackerel, Grouper, Grunts, Snapper, etc. This is a cooler buster for sure! **This trip will last 10 hours. The 12 hour time shown is set for a buffer**

This trip takes us offshore to the legendary Frying Pan Tower, one of the most iconic fishing landmarks along the Carolina coast. The massive steel structure and surrounding reefs create a year-round hotspot loaded with bait and predator fish. This area is alive with action and incredible variety, with opportunities to catch Amberjack, Barracuda, King Mackerel, Snapper, Grouper, Sharks, and many other bottom and pelagic species. Typically we do a mix of trolling and bottom fish the tower's structure.

This is a great trip for kids or someone thats new to fishing in the ocean. You will be fishing 2-4 miles from the inlet and land will be close by. You will use bottom fishing techniques with cut and live bait. You will also have the chance to catch sharks to experience the power and fun fight they deliver.

On a half-day nearshore trip, we target Spanish mackerel, Bluefish, King mackerel, and Cobia while trolling. If bottom fishing, we commonly target Black sea bass, Triggerfish, Flounder, along with many other bottom species. Please let the captain know in advance if you would prefer trolling or bottom fishing, as a 4-hour trip will typically focus on one style of fishing rather than both.
