Virginia Cobia Fishing Charters

The 6-hour trip is great for people that want more time on the water or want to hunt a specific species of fish such as Cobia or Red drum. You will be targeting, Spanish Mackerel, Bluefish, Ribbonfish, Red Drum, King Mackerel, and Cobia when they are in our waters. All tackle, rods, reels, bait, and a fishing license are included. Please bring what you want to eat and drink. We include free fish cleaning. Please tip your 1st mate 20%.

Afishinadovb Fishing Charters is a 1988 Ocean Master 31CC Center console based out of Virginia Beach. It can take up to six guests. The boat is powered by two 250 HP gasoline outboard Yamaha engines, offering a maximum cruising speed of 30 knots. The vessel comes equipped with audio system, baitwell, fishfinder, outside speakers and rod holders. Want to sleep in a bit this trip may be for you! This trip takes advantage of the middle part of the day. These trips start at 9am-3pm or 10am till 4pm. Species targeted will be Cobia, Spanish Mackerel, sheepshead, flounder, spadefish or Red/ black Drum. Have young children we can mix it up with some fast action bottom fish on a reef, your trip, you decide. We prefer cash as payment but will accept Venmo, Cash APP or Zelle. Mate works for tips only and 20% is customary.

Start your morning by going fishing Nearshore and Inshore for Bluefish, Spanish Mackerel, Cobia, Sharks, and Redfish. Capt. Kurt will supply rods, reels, tackle, and fishing licenses, you just need to bring your favorite snacks and drinks.

Head out to some of Virginia's nearshore wrecks and target Seabass, Flounder, Tautog, and more. Occasionally, you can find Mahi and Triggerfish. These trips are weather-dependent – if the weather is good, you can go! 5 people max

A 6-hour trip is recommended for those who would like to get it done in a shorter time with less expense. Come aboard with Captain Jeff and his first mate who works hard for his 20% gratuity.

This trip will consist of trolling the oceanfront targeting species such as spanish mackerel, bluefish, ribbonfish, cobia and red drum. Our day will be spent within 5 miles of the coast.

This is a fishing trip that focuses only for Sheepshead as we hit the reefs and wreck of the Chesapeake Bay in search for these hard fighting great eating fish!
