Pamlico Sound Cobia Fishing Charters

Similar to 3/4 day, This trip provides the best opportunity for larger fish and higher quantity.

With an 11am departure this is an offshore trip for those that preffer to sleep in a little later. On 3/4 day trips we fish 15-25 miles off the beach targeting king mackerel and dolphin on troll and triggerfish and snapper on the bottom.

Explore inshore and nearshore spots on this morning trip. Anglers of all skill levels are welcome to join, so don't hesitate to come. You'll learn how to use the equipment and how to recognize when is the right time to start reeling.

Depart at 3:00 p.m. and spend 5 hours on the water, enjoying a lovely afternoon with your loved ones. You will stay within sight of land and go after Cobia, Bluefish, Spanish Mackerel, Drum, and Flounder. Especially suitable for the whole family, this trip makes it possible not only to fish but also to observe the dolphins and wild horses near the numerous islands. Keep in mind that there is a customary 20% tip at the end of the trip.

This is a 7 to 8 hours long trip that is spent fishing nearshore and the flats of Pamlico Sound. We can troll, bait fish, or cast jigs during this trip. The type of fishing techniques we'll use will depend on the time of year and what is biting best. This trip runs from 8 a.m. to 3-4 p.m. The max amount of people allowed on this trip is 4!

Spanish fishing in the afternoon

This nearshore trip allows us to fish for a variety of fish farther from the inlet. You will be looking for Bluefish, Spanish Mackerel, King Mackerel, Amberjack, False Albacore, and Cobia. This trip is a great way to relax and fish all day without having to leave the dock early in the morning. If you are targeting Cobia, this is a recommended trip. Seasonal.

We stay in the calm waters of the sound or depending on the weather, will head out into the ocean, catching drum, speckled trout, flounder, spanish mackeral and whatever else the ocean might bring us that day. If the weather is cooperating that day, we can mix it up and do both sound an ocean. A full day trip is a great way to catch a variety of fish and allows the Capt. time to try various spots.
