Maine Cod Fishing Charters

This trip is for 5 persons only. On this 10 hour trip, you can expect to mostly bottom fish for Haddock, Cod, Pollock, and many more! You may encounter Giant Bluefin Tuna and Sharks. Bait and tackle are included in all trips, as well as fishing cleaning services. Just be sure to bring your own snacks, drinks, beer (as long as you are over 21), warm clothes, and comfortable footwear. Everything else will be covered so you can come ready to fish and have an amazing time!

Our 2.5-hour family fishing trip offers a fun and exciting introduction to ocean fishing for beginners, families & kids (ages 7+). PLEASE NOTE*** If you are looking for big game charters or to fill your freezer with catch to take home, there are many other great Maine guides who specialize in Tuna, Striper, Shark, or Haddock trips. We will target a variety of different inshore species depending on the time of year, including Cod, Pollock and Mackerel, after which we will haul our lobster traps.

A family-friendly trip, exploring the inshore waters and targeting Mackerel, Pollock, and groundfish. Up to 6 people. A sightseeing tour of Somes Sound can be part of the trip. Some great family fun. We fish for mackerel fish and then pull a few lobster traps. Maine has a rich tradition of lobstering. Come learn about this species and fishery. The captian will showcase the gear and biology of lobster. We will wlso fish for some baitfish on this trip.

Moored up on the New Meadows watershed, we will get to slinging line for 4-5 hours depending on the conditions and ambitions! Drifting runs, casting flats, and hunting shallow water ledges for the willing Striper. I keep it loose and the lines tight. Music is always preferred as fish love tunes. Come enjoy the great fishery and environment we have been blessed to partake in. Catch and Release is highly encouraged.

This is a full day trip that is sure to wear you out. The trip departs early in the AM and we stay out for a full day of off shore ground fishing. These trips will run from 8-12 hours. We target fish one of the most popular eating fish in the northeast, Haddock, along with many other species of fish. These trips will often see a variety of whales and porpoise. The goal of this trip is to load you up with fresh fish to take home. Be sure to bring a cooler so that you can transport your catch home.

Take a 2 hour tour through the islands of Casco Bay with Captain Coleman. We’ll see eagles, ospreys, harbor seals, porpoises and much more.

Head offshore to target Cod, Haddock and Pollock on a half day ground fishing trip. We will jig and drift over some of the Gulf of Maine's most productive fishing grounds to bring home delicious New England ground fish.

We have 4- and 6-hour Striper trips, and Offshore Ground Fishing is booked for 8 hours. We'll accommodate kids' fishing and harbor tours. In most cases, we can modify trips according to customer requests.

This is an 8-hour trip going 10 to 25 miles offshore. We will be fishing in about 200 to 400 ft of water. With this trip you may catch Pollock, cod, hake, haddock, cusk, spiny Dogfish sharks and other fish. We provide all the fishing equipment in bait. On these trips we often see whales, dolphin, and sunfish.
