Saco Cod Fishing Charters

We will bottom fish for (depending on open seasons) cod, haddock, pollock , hake. This is a great trip to keep reels turning. We will also include a lobster tour and pull a trap on tbe way in (except Sundays). You take any legal lobsters home.

You will be bottom fishing for popular Gulf of Maine groundfish including Haddock, Pollock, Hake, Cod (when in season), and other species while drift fishing for Shark. We can take up to 6 passengers.

This is a full day trip that is sure to wear you out. The trip departs early in the AM and we stay out for a full day of off shore ground fishing. These trips will run from 8-12 hours. We target fish one of the most popular eating fish in the northeast, Haddock, along with many other species of fish. These trips will often see a variety of whales and porpoise. The goal of this trip is to load you up with fresh fish to take home. Be sure to bring a cooler so that you can transport your catch home.

Head offshore to target Cod, Haddock and Pollock on a half day ground fishing trip. We will jig and drift over some of the Gulf of Maine's most productive fishing grounds to bring home delicious New England ground fish.

We'll head to the offshore grounds to fish the depths of Jeffrey's and Tanta's Ledges. We'll fish in 200+ feet of water to target a mixed bag of bottom fish using bait and jigs. Upon return to the Camp Ellis docks your captain will fillet your catch. This trip is run when weather and sea conditions allow. Bring raingear, lunch, and drinks for this 7 hour adventure. Four person maximum on this trip.

We have 4- and 6-hour Striper trips, and Offshore Ground Fishing is booked for 8 hours. We'll accommodate kids' fishing and harbor tours. In most cases, we can modify trips according to customer requests.

This is an 8-hour trip going 10 to 25 miles offshore. We will be fishing in about 200 to 400 ft of water. With this trip you may catch Pollock, cod, hake, haddock, cusk, spiny Dogfish sharks and other fish. We provide all the fishing equipment in bait. On these trips we often see whales, dolphin, and sunfish.

We’ll be bottom fishing using jigging techniques with different tackle along Southern Maine’s nearshore ledges. This trip enjoys a scenic ride to the fishing grounds as we guide you towards what’s biting best! Keep an eye out for sunfish, porpoises, and whales!
