You will arrive at the dock before sunrise, usually at 4:30 am. Once aboard, you will cruise out of Oregon Inlet into the Atlantic Ocean, traveling 20-30 miles to the Gulf Stream. The mate will set out a spread of 6-8 rods. While trolling for a bite. You may enjoy one of the 3 fishing chairs available in the cockpit, a bench seat in the shade of the hardtop, or stay in the salon. Once you have a fish on, jump into the fighting chair to reel in the catch. The mate will bring the fish aboard.

While we hit a slow day, we still caught a few to bring home for a mess. Totally not Sam’s fault, the fish just weren’t cooperating. Was a fun day just the same. Sam was very personable, has clean boat with easy access. Would recommend.

My 14 year old son and I had a great time. We caught a lot of fish. Sam changed lures quickly when things weren’t working. Great conversation. Boat was very clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend him if you’re in the OBX area!
