Surf City Sailfish Fishing Charters

A full day trip allows more fishing time, up to 30 miles out. On this full day trip we will be targeting King Mackerel, Sailfish, Mahi Mahi, and other game fish. A fishing license and gear are provided.

We leave the dock early, as it takes 2 plus hours to reach the gulfstream. We start off our day trolling for the poligic fish as the sun is just rising off the horizon. We finish off our day bottom fishing for our meat fish such as groupers, B liners, cobia, (red-snapper when in season) and much more. We always provide waters to drink. Make sure to bring a cooler with your food, snacks and other bevereges, and to transport your catch home. Dont forget hats, sunglasses, and sunscreen lotion!

The inshore creeks and shallow waters of North Carolina are home to some exceptional game fish. Go after Sharks, Cobia, Bluefish, and Mackerels, and you'll even get to take the tastiest of your catch home with you. Use all your strength to reel in one of these tough fighters on the boat during this 5-hour trip. Stay in the inshore or nearshore waters up to 5 miles from the coastline. You'll spend 5 hours going after exciting species such as King and Spanish Mackerel, Bluefish, Cobia, and even Sharks.

Our personal favorite trip. We will be running about 55-60 miles out to the gulfstream to troll with heavy tackle for Tuna, Wahoo, Mahi and Sailfish. This trip can be great year round and is also very good in the winter months for Wahoo and Tuna. We will also do a little bottom fishing on this trip if the trolling is slow.

An 8-hour trip within 40 nm. A wider range of target species with more time on the water! May include Amberjack, Cobia, Grouper, King Mackerel, Mahi Mahi, Porgy, Seabass, Snapper, Triggerfish, Wahoo, Tuna, and Sailfish. A Mate will accompany all fishing charters and works for tips. 20% of the total trip price is customary.

Great for families and first-time anglers! Stays within sight of land and target Spanish Mackerel, Bluefish, Atlantic Bonita, Black Sea Bass, and other reef fish.

Great trip for kids of all ages! This is a 3-4 hour trip and we'll stay within a mile or two of the inlet. The species we'll target are Spanish Mackerel, Bluefish, King Mackerel, and Grey Trout.

On these trips, we're able to push off and have some time to get some more fish in the box! On these trips we usually see king markerel, amber jack, mahi cobia, trigger fish, grouper, seabass and much more! All fishing license and gear is included with the trip. Just bring some snacks and drinks you may like in particular. We have everything else covered!

A whole day of action-packed, deep-sea adventure traveling 40–70 miles offshore. Expect to fish at the edge of the continental shelf. Primarily trolling with multiple lines (spreads) for pelagics, or jigging/bottom fishing for grouper, snapper, and triggerfish.

We will spend time offshore trolling/live bait fishing for King Mackerel, Cobia, Mahi, Sailfish and other assorted game fish. We will also bottom fish for Sea Bass, Grouper and assorted bottom fish. Fuel surcharge not included in price. Time changes to trips could occur based on tides.
