We can be fishing within 10 minutes of the leaving the dock in the heart of the Vancouver harbour or off the mouth of the mighty Fraser River without having to travel too far to maximize fishing time.
Excellent option for those looking for a half day experience or it’s their first time out or with young kids. Often it is enough to have some excellent fishing during August and September.
If you think 4 hours is too short but a full 8 hours is a bit much, choose our 6 hour charter that will give you a good chance at chasing down some big Chinook and Coho Salmon!
The 7hr 4person rate is $1285.00 plus 5%GST. A extra hour is $155.00. Not included is a $15 B.C. tidal water fishing licence. Early start times & longer trips are beneficial when fishing for Salmon as multiple tide changes & hotspots can be fished. Most trips we are fishing within minutes. Run time can increase based on the Salmon present. A detailed honest fish/weather/safety plan is given each morning prior to departure. Longer trips give access to more tidal swings & hotspots increasing luck & success.
Located a short distance outside Downtown Vancouver. We can offer more fishing and less cruising to the prime fishing destinations...allowing you more opportunity to fish and bask in the amazing scenery.
We want you to have the best experience you can and therefore we don't offer a set departure time and instead customize it around you and the fish to anticipate the prime 'BITE' of the day...
The morning is always the best time. The departure time and duration can vary after we discuss the options.

This southern Howe Sound trip starts out with dropping Prawn/and or Crab traps (depending on regulations) on your way to the fishing grounds. We venture out a little further into Vancouver waters with this longer trip although most fishing is still within 5/60 mins from the dock. This trip covers more area to see the sights and stay on the fish! On our return to the dock, you'll collect the traps and take home some Dungeness Crab and delicious BC spot Prawn! Need more time? Additional hours are available.
Leaving the boat ramp we will have a 15 minute boat ride to where we will set crab traps. After this we will have a 5 minute boat ride to the area where we will set prawn traps. After this we will go to the fishing grouds either targeting salmon or lingcod and rock cod. We will most likey have 3 hours of fishing then we will return to pick up traps full of crab and prawn.
Start your trip off by setting up a Crab trap or a few Shrimp pots, then head off for some Salmon. Salmon don't wanna bite today? Let's go catch some Rockfish! Lingcod and Snapper are always tasty! Returning to the harbor we can pick up the Shrimp and/or Crab pots we dropped earlier in the day. The adventure is yours, let me be your guide!

Great location, great boat and great captain
5/5
Our fishing trip was a great experience from the beginning till the end. Our captain Ryan was knowledgable and fun. We caught 5 good size chinook salmon and released them back safely since it wasn’t the keeping season but it encouraged us to come back fishing with Ryan once more to catch more!
Captain Brennan got us into coho and chinook salmon and the catching was great. If we’re back in the area we will definitely book another trip with him.
We caught several chinook salmon but were unable to keep them on June 4 because the season was not open yet but Andrew was a great guide on a great boat and we had fun. The coho salmon were not biting on this day and they were in season. That is fishing though; you never know what will happen.
Amazing experience with an extremely talented captain, did some salmon fishing which was an amazing experience. Learned a ton about fishing and about the area we were fishing. My wife who’s not experienced had an amazing time and loved how easy she learned and got helped to land a huge chinook salmon. Would recommend to anyone looking for an experience of a life time!
My daughter and two grandsons enjoyed a perfect day on the water with Captain Paul, catching Coho and Chinook Salmon, and then returning to the crab traps where we harvested three very large keepers (Dungeoness) out of 50 or so crabs!! Very skilled and knowledgeable, very good and patient with the boys aged 10 and 13. Would definitely book with him again!!
