Nanaimo Chum Salmon Fishing Charters

Join us as we drift the famous Cowichan river in search of wild salmon, steelhead and trout. Whether your a seasoned vet or a novis angler looking to dip your toes into river fishing, we have a trip that will work for you.

A half-day trip is 5 hours. The 1 person rate is $800.00 CDN funds plus 5% GST. Not included is a $15 printed B.C. tidal water fishing license required by all on board. Early start times are beneficial when fishing for Salmon. 6,7&8 hour trips are all options. Each extra hour is $180.00. Fishing many locations longer boat rides are @ times required based on the Salmon present. A detailed/honest fish, weather & safety report is part of every trip for all guests. A daily plan is key to consistent results.

Located a short distance outside Downtown Vancouver. We can offer more fishing and less cruising to the prime fishing destinations...allowing you more opportunity to fish and bask in the amazing scenery. We want you to have the best experience you can and therefore we don't offer a set departure time and instead customize it around you and the fish to anticipate the prime 'BITE' of the day... The morning is always the best time. The departure time and duration can vary after we discuss the options.

This is a half-day trip taking you out first thing in the morning – or later if you prefer. You'll spend 5 hours on the water, going after prized Salmon species, that you can take home for a tasty treat. Please note, the charter price is for 2 people. One more can be added for an additional $125.

Book this 6 Hour Charter to receive a fully guided Parksville/ Qualicum Beach fishing experience targeting Chinook, Coho, Pink and Chum Salmon. if you would like to drop a crab trap in your 6 Hour Charter we can accommodate that at no extra cost. We will Leave the dock at 7:00 AM and return at 1:00 PM Please note that our prices include Government Taxes.

Once we leave the dock you choose! We want you to have the best day possible so it's completely up to you how we spend the day. If you want to fish all day, no problem. If you want to sightsee, we can do that. If dropping anchor and relaxing in a quiet cove, swimming, and having lunch is more what you are after... we can do that too. Bottom line, it's up to you! Price includes all taxes and fees, max 4 people per trip.

With the minimum 4 hour charter we definitely have the time to target most fish options as the travel time to most of the fishing locations is generally only a15 to 20 minute run at most
