We want you to have the best experience you can and therefore we don't offer a set departure time and instead customize it around you and the fish to anticipate the prime 'BITE' of the day... This full 10-hour day of fishing is the best way to capitalize on your time in Tofino. Fish multiple species to help fill your freezer for winter. You and the captain can drop Crab or prawn traps on your way out to the open ocean. Then, depending on tides, you can work on catching some scrappy exhilarating Chinook Salmon or wrestle some large Halibut or Lingcod from the depths. Whatever you like, the captain can personalize your adventure.

Fully Guided Fishing Charter targeting areas such as Bute Inlet, Toba Inlet, Denham Bay, Thurston, Hall Point. Areas renowned for large chinook and abundant coho. Large pods of white sided dolphins, orcas, humpback whales frequent these waters. In May and June early run chinook are common in these areas and often we see Tyee sized (30+lbs) salmon caught in these areas. Minimum charter length - 8 hours. Longer Charters can be arranged.

A little more time on the water gives you a greater range and broader scope of fishing locations. Go after one species or multiple different fish if retention limits are not the objective. These waters are home to Lingcod, two types of Salmon, Rockfish, Halibut, and many more delicious creatures, so there'll be no shortage of rewards after you fill the boat with these creatures. You may also explore Hot Springs Cove which is perfect for families or couples who wish to beat the crowds.

The 7hr 4person rate is $1285.00 plus 5%GST. A extra hour is $155.00. Not included is a $15 B.C. tidal water fishing licence. Early start times & longer trips are beneficial when fishing for Salmon as multiple tide changes & hotspots can be fished. Most trips we are fishing within minutes. Run time can increase based on the Salmon present. A detailed honest fish/weather/safety plan is given each morning prior to departure. Longer trips give access to more tidal swings & hotspots increasing luck & success.

If you think 4 hours is too short but a full 8 hours is a bit much, choose our 6 hour charter that will give you a good chance at chasing down some big Chinook and Coho Salmon!

Afternoon trips are a perfect option if you're someone who likes to sleep in. You'll be trolling Lake Ontario for Salmon, Lake Trout, Rainbow Trout, and Brown Trout. The price of the trip includes rods, reels as well as terminal tackle. Please bring a valid fishing license, along with a pair of polarized sunglasses and some sunscreen.
