Holden Beach Black Seabass Fishing Charters

Join Captain Harvey for an action-packed 4-hour nearshore fishing adventure as we fish 1–10 miles offshore around reefs and shipwrecks. Depending on the bite, we'll target King & Spanish Mackerel, Cobia, Bonito, Sea Bass, Snapper, Grouper, and more. If sea conditions don't cooperate, we'll adjust the plan and fish closer to shore. Get out on the edge of the gulf stream. Lots of tasty bottom fish like Seabass and Snapper. Line screaming Kingfish, jumping Mahi, and Cobia. This is also a great trip to Frying Pan Tower!

This trip typically ranges out to 35 miles offshore. The total fishing time is roughly 5 ½ hours, not much more than the 3/4 day offshore trip, but you will be fishing grounds that are much more productive. The trip usually includes an option of live bait and slow trolling to target top-water trophy game fish or bottom fishing to target great-eating bottomfish. The species you will target include King Mackerel, Barracuda, Cobia, Amberjack, Snapper, Grouper, and Sea Bass.

This 10-hour trip takes you far offshore, where you can reach the home of Tuna, Sailfish, Mahi Mahi, and bottom fish like Grouper and Black Bass. If you like the challenge, the adrenaline, and pushing yourself to the limits, this is the trip for you!

On the 4-hour nearshore trip, we will be fishing within sight of land in the ocean off of Brunswick County. We'll target species such as King Mackerel, Spanish Mackerel, Flounder, Black Sea Bass, and numerous species of Sharks. Join us for a fun time on these waters!

Half-day charters are 4 hours and are for up to 4 anglers, including children. Bottled drinking water is included, along with all tackle and bait. Looking for anything in particular? Just ask!

Trips consist of targeting Spanish Mackerel, King Mackerel, Barracuda, Mahi, Black Bass, and other species of bottom fish. This trip allows more time to run further offshore to locate and fish for a larger variety of species as compared to the nearshore/inshore trip. The distance ran offshore will be a maximum of 20 miles, weather permitting. This trip allows for a maximum of 4 people.

The 6-hour trip gives you more fishing time compared to the 4-hour. This a great trip for someone who is still learning their way around a fishing boat and wants to go a little deeper into the fishing grounds!

During this trip you will be fishing for a variety of targeted species. These include but are not limited to Red Drum, Spanish Mackerel, Bluefish, Black Seabass, King Mackerel and even Sharks. Typical trips are within 5 miles of shore. Enjoy bottom fishing or trolling. The choice of which one is typically based upon weather and influences what you may need to target for that day.
