Louisiana Sheepshead Fishing Charters

This morning trip will take you catching Redfish and Speckled Trout in the backwater marsh of New Orleans. You will be provided with rods, reels, lures, tackle, drinks (bottled water), and cleaning and bagging of your catch. Transportation is also available from downtown New Orleans.

Spend the whole day in some of the most productive inshore waters off the coast of Louisiana. You'll get the chance to target species like Flounder, Sheepshead, Redfish, Black Drum, Speckled Trout, White Trout, and Croaker. Each person 18 years of age and older needs to have a Louisiana fishing license. A three day out of state license may be purchased for $20 online from the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries.

Calling all fishing enthusiasts aboard! Explore the productive inshore waters of the Gulf, just out of Lafitte as you aim to fill the boat and hit your daily limit. These shallow waters are home to a range of tough-fighting and tasty fish, so get your fish on as you use light tackle and jig, spin, and even use some popping corks to lure their bite. Fight it out with Sheepshead, Redfish, Trout, and many more to take home.

We will have a great time watching the sunset , while putting some fish in the cooler.

The full day trip is an optional 8 hours on the water full of fun and fishing either in the marsh of South Louisiana or on Louisiana's coast, targeting Speckled Trout and Redfish. The captain will provide all the poles, reels, and terminal tackle. He also covers you for live bait (live shrimp) water, and chips on the boat. All other drinks, food, and snacks are up to your choice.

Half-day trips are 4 hours long. This trip with Captain Bradley will take you fishing for Redfish, Black Drum, Sheepshead, Flounder, and Speckled Trout. Rods, reels, and tackle are included. Live shrimp can be provided at an additional cost, which varies from marina to marina. Fish cleaning is included. Remember to bring your sunglasses, sunscreen, hat, and fishing license!
