Alabama Spanish Mackerel Fishing Charters

We troll out to the area where we will reef fish. It's possible to catch anything from King Mackerel, Spanish Mackerel, Blackfin Tuna, Cobia, and more while trolling 12 miles out to the reef, where we will drift line and drop line fish for Snapper, Amberjack, Trigger and more. On this trip you can expect your time to be split quite evenly between trolling and reef fishing. When in season, you'll even target the famed Red Snapper! Stay on the fish just a little longer with our 5 hour trip option! On this trip we will be fishing the inshore waters of Orange Beach targeting Redfish, Speckled Trout, Black Drum, Mangrove Snapper and many more inshore gamefish. The trip will embark at 7:00 AM and return at 12:00 Noon.

Anglers looking to go after a particular species rather than just trying to see what's biting will find this trip to be the perfect option for them. Giving yourself some extra time will allow you to cover a larger area and battle some excellent fish. You'll fish inshore or nearshore depending on what you want to go for, where the fish are, and sea conditions. You could catch Trout, Redfish, Sheepshead, Cobia (in season), Mackerel, and more on this trip. A 15-20% tip is customary.

The captain's 6-hour inshore trips consist of fishing around Mobile Bay and the surrounding rivers for Speckled Trout, Redfish, Flounder, Tripletail, Sheepshead, etc. All of his inshore trips are run out of Weeks Bay boat launch near Fairhope, Al., but other pickup locations for Gulf Shores, Ft. Morgan / Dauphin Island can be arranged if conditions allow.

Deep sea fishing includes all tackle, bait, fuel, ice, and complimentary fish cleaning. Alabama has thousands of artificial reefs offshore, which hold Red Snapper, Grouper, Cobia, Vermilion Snapper, Lane Snapper, Triggerfish, Amberjack, and White Snapper.

Whether your goal is to fill your cooler with fish or land a catch worth bragging about this trip will give you plenty of opportunity to accomplish it. It’s the ideal choice for seasoned anglers looking to cover a large area and land a nice Mahi Mahi or even a Wahoo! Catch Red Snapper and many more bottom fish! Don't forget to tip the mate.
