Alabama Spanish Mackerel Fishing Charters

We start by trolling en route to the reef, with chances to catch King Mackerel, Spanish Mackerel, Blackfin Tuna, Cobia, and more. Once on the reef, we'll drift and drop line fish for Snapper, Amberjack, Triggerfish, and more. Time is split evenly between trolling and reef fishing. In season, you may target the famed Red Snapper! Departure times may vary—please contact the Captain to confirm.

Anglers looking to target a specific species rather than just seeing what's biting will find this trip ideal. Allowing extra time lets you cover more water and battle some impressive fish. You'll fish inshore or nearshore depending on your target, fish locations, and sea conditions. Possible catches include Trout, Redfish, Sheepshead, Cobia (in season), Mackerel, and more. A 15–20% tip is customary.

Ffishing for inshore species such as Speckled and White Trout, Redfish, Flounder, and many more, just with an extra hour.

The captain's 6-hour inshore trips consist of fishing around Mobile Bay and the surrounding rivers for Speckled Trout, Redfish, Flounder, Tripletail, Sheepshead, etc. All of his inshore trips are run out of Weeks Bay boat launch near Fairhope, Al., but other pickup locations for Gulf Shores, Ft. Morgan / Dauphin Island can be arranged if conditions allow.

Deep sea fishing includes all tackle, bait, fuel, ice, and complimentary fish cleaning. Alabama has thousands of artificial reefs offshore, which hold Red Snapper, Grouper, Cobia, Vermilion Snapper, Lane Snapper, Triggerfish, Amberjack, and White Snapper.

Whether your goal is to fill your cooler with fish or land a catch worth bragging about this trip will give you plenty of opportunity to accomplish it.
