Hatteras Spanish Mackerel Fishing Charters

Seas The Day NC specializes in active fishing, using artificial baits, casting gear and very little trolling. If you are an experienced angler and want to learn some new techniques or put your skills to the test this is the trip for you! We take a unique approach using custom/prototype tackle specifically designed to allow the angler to create specific presentations. Our Clients range from absolute beginners to professional Bass fisherman and if you're in to fly fishing bring your fly gear!

On this Half Day Trip you'll board the boat early and head out into some of North Carolina's most fruitful inshore waters. You'll be targeting fish that are fun and straightforward to catch and good to eat. Hopefully, you'll find yourself cleaning some Redfish, Kingfish, Bluefish, and Spanish Mackerel after a rewarding day. This is a popular trip for beginners and for families. The catches and techniques such as trolling and spinning are easy enough for beginners to get a hang of.

If a half day isn't enough time for you to do everything you want, this one's the right one for you. It allows for more time to visit fishing grounds or wrecks that are a bit further from shore. Here you'll find species like Amberjack, Mackerel, and Cobia. The fishing gear will be ready for you, just make sure to bring sunscreen, as well as some food and drinks, and come have a fishing adventure!

On a typical 4-hour trip leaving around noon, you will be trolling down the beaches of Hatteras and Ocracoke for Spanish Mackerel and Bluefish. There will be no Mahi, Tuna, or any other offshore fish to catch on this trip. Keep in mind that spray sunscreen is not allowed on board.

Start your trip early in the morning and enjoy fishing the rich waters around Hatteras for 4 hours. Your crew will take care of all the fishing gear as well as licenses, so all you need to bring are drinks and snacks.

This is a 4-hour long trip that is spent fishing nearshore and the flats of Pamlico Sound. We can troll, bait fish, or cast jigs during this trip. The type of fishing techniques we'll use will depend on the time of year and what is biting best. Weather always plays into our plans as well. Morning trips run from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m., and afternoon trips run from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. FOUR PERSON MAX.

This 4 hour trip will take you after some tasty inshore species, such as Redfish, Cobia, Flounder, Trout, Black Drum, and many more. Beginners are welcome to join as well!
