Queensland Sweetlip Emperor Fishing Charters

If you've just got a few hours to spare, then this exciting 5-hour trip is just what you need to get you testing the productive waters out from the Sunshine Coast. Get your fish on in style, as you hit up the local reefs, trying bottom fishing and trolling for a range of dazzling and delicious fish. From Trout, Snappers, and Perch, to Tuna and Sailfish, there's no end to what you can catch.

New boat, same great service! This trip is perfect for beginners to the experienced angler. Fishing the coastal reefs, Shawry will share with you some tips and tricks he has learned form over 20 years in the local commercial and charter industry. Using a range of techniques we will be targeting Coral Trout, Sweetlip, Fingermark, Cod and more..

During this half day trip, you can go after Mackerel, Snapper, Pearl Perch, Coral Trout, and maybe even Tuna. It will take 20-40 minutes to reach your fishing spot. The trip includes your fishing equipment, light snacks, and soft drinks.

9 hours of fishing has so much to offer! Switch between different fishing spots, try out all kinds of techniques, and target various species. You can go after Barramundi, Whiting, Salmon, Sweetlip Emperor, Mackerel, and many more.

A maximum of 8 guests. Minimum age 12yo. All equipment, tackle, and bait are supplied. Experienced skipper/owner with 30 years local experience. Departing Port Douglas at 7.30a.m. and returning at 3.30p.m. Catch is bled and bagged. CONDITIONS # Private charters are to be paid in full by 7 days before departure date. # The operator reserves the right to transfer the charter to calm water options, including estuary, in the event weather conditions prevent accessing the reef.

This length of trip allows us to travel that bit further to those less fished areas, as we start early, you're back in port to relax and enjoy the pleasures of Airlie in the afternoon.
