Stamford Tautog Fishing Charters

This is a 6-person maximum for a 4-hour fishing trip that will see you mostly trolling for Stripers and Blues. Fishing in the Long Island Sound from Norwalk to New Rochelle NY.

Step aboard Bimini Twist, a 40-foot Jersey Sportfish with A/C, a spacious deck, and modern amenities. Fish for Bluefish, Striped Bass, Blackfish (Tautog), Black Sea Bass, Flounder, and Porgies (seasonal). Trips include premium gear and licenses. Bring food, drinks, sunscreen, and layers. On a typical full-day offshore trip we will run offshore stopping at different types of reefs, wrecks, ledges, and offshore buoys jn the Atlantic Ocean. The targeted bottom species will be Fluke, Sea Bass and Stripped Bass. Often times when moving around from differnt spots trolling can be productive.

Half day - Striped Bass/Blackfish/Bluefish/Fluke

Half day adventures are the perfect amount of time to catch some fish and create some Memories. Targeting all species based on time of year and weather. Kids welcome!

For this 4-hour light tackle trip, we will be targeting Striped Bass, Bluefish, Fluke, Scup, and a variety of other species that are in season.

No experience needed. Join us for a day of fishing and artistry! Time is determined by the captain based on tides, availability and fish activity.

Fall provides many great fishing opportunities but jigging Blackfish might be our favorite! Days of non-stop action with many fish in the 6-10lb range can be expected here in the Western Sound. Lots of local structure and rock piles make it a very short cruise to the fishing grounds! Enjoy the comforts of the Pilothouse when your arms need a rest!

Fluke fishing is one of our favorites! Light tackle action is the way to go—spinning setups and light conventional gear are our 'go-to' choices. When fishing, we usually drift rigs using a variety of baits: strip bait, artificial lures, and when the timing is right, live bait. Bucktails are also an extremely effective approach for triggering strikes. On our trips, the action doesn't stop with fluke—you also can catch striped bass, sea bass, porgy, bluefish, and other species for a mixed bag experience

Looking to get out and bend a rod quick? A 4 Hour Trip is perfect, hop on board and let's hit some local holes only 15-20 min from the dock and due to time management we will stay inside the bay. Fluke May 4-Oct 15 Striped Bass April 15-Dec15 Sea Bass June 23-Dec 31 Black Fish April 1- April 30 & Oct 15- Dec 22 Other common species include Blue fish, Sea Robins, Cobia and Bonito.
