North Carolina Bigeye Tuna Fishing Charters

Head out to the productive Gulf Stream on this 8-hour adventure! You'll typically be fishing up to 30 miles offshore, so make sure your sea legs are strong. You'll be targeting Tilefish, Seabass, Grouper, Amberjack, Shark, King Mackerel, and trolling species such as Sailfish and Mahi Mahi. Custom fishing gear will be provided for you, as well as a fishing license for your group, so just bring snacks, drinks, and weather-appropriate clothing.

This is the Outer Banks' premier fishing trip. It gives you the best chance to catch a trophy fish. Fish the bluewater of the Gulf Stream for all offshore gamefish including Yellowfin, Bigeye and Blackfin Tuna, Dolphin (Mahi), Blue and White Marlin, Sailfish, Wahoo, and many other species.

This 12-13-hour trip will take you up to 60 miles offshore to the blue water! Depending on the time of year, we will be fishing for Blackfin Tuna, Bigeye Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Wahoo, and Mahi Mahi. Also a possibility of occasional Sailfish jumping the bait!

The blue water is about 60 miles offshore of our coast. We will be targeting Black Fin Tuna, Bigeye Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, and the occasional Sailfish. These types of species are seasonal to certain times of the year so check with us to see what's biting.

Leave Oregon Inlet and fish all day in the amazing blue waters of the Gulf Stream on a beautiful Blackwell 40' Express boat. Get in the action while catching everything from Tuna (all types) to Mahi Mahi to all types of billfish. The $2550 price includes filleting the fish, something that likely saves you a few hundred dollars on a good day. Keep in mind the mate works for tips: 15-20% of trip cost.

These charters are designed to venture between 3 and 20 miles outside the inlet. The species often available on these trips include king mackerel, spanish mackerel, bluefish and on occasion some mahi. Also amberjack, false albacore and cobia when in season. Since these species are seasonal please always discuss what species you might expect to target on your intermediate charter before leaving the dock.

Get ready, we are going to the Gulfstream! When you get to the fishing grounds, be ready to reel in some Tuna, Mahi, Wahoo, and/or Billfish! Pack your own food and drinks and leave the rest to Roanoke Sportfishing!

Leaving the docks at 4:30AM, returning at 3:30 PM with 11 hours of offshore fishing targeting Tuna, Tilefish, Mahi, Wahoo, White Marlin, Blue Marlin, and Sailfish. If you're looking for that trophy fish, this is the trip for you.

On full-day trips, we head out of Oregon Inlet, traveling 40–50 miles to the Gulfstream. From May to late September, target mahi, wahoo, black/yellowfin/bigeye tuna, white marlin, sailfish, and the legendary blue marlin. Trips may run slightly longer than 12 hours. All tackle is provided, and we don't leave until the box is full and our customers are smiling. Get ready for an unforgettable OBX fishing adventure!

Lets go Offshore to have a chance to reel in the big one! This is a 11 hour offshore trip for Tuna, Mahi, Wahoo, Marlin, Sailfish, and more! Don't forget your sunscreen. All licences are included. Trip starts at 5am.
