North Carolina Offshore Fishing Charters

This 4-hour trip is all about catching a variety of species: Shark, Seabass, King and Spanish Mackerel, and Barracuda are all on the menu. All required equipment is provided by the charter. This 4-hour trip will be You'll be targeting fun catches such as Kingfish, Shark, Sea Bass, Spanish Mackerel, and even some Barracuda!

Get out on the edge of the gulf stream. Lots of tasty bottom fish like Seabass and Snapper. Line screaming Kingfish, jumping Mahi, and Cobia. This is also a great trip to Frying Pan Tower!

We fish from New River (Jacksonville) to BHI (Southport) and all points in between. We will be pursuing Speckled Trout, Flounder, Red Drum, Black Drum, Sheephead, Black Seabass, Croaker, Spot, Puffer Fish, Spanish Mackerel, Bluefish, and Bonito.

These charters are designed to venture between 3 and 20 miles outside the inlet. The species often available on these trips include king mackerel, spanish mackerel, bluefish and on occasion some mahi. Also amberjack, false albacore and cobia when in season. Since these species are seasonal please always discuss what species you might expect to target on your intermediate charter before leaving the dock.

Offshore trips offer the best variety of fishing possibilities. These trips can take us up to 25 miles offshore and offer a variety of fishing techniques such as trolling, bottom fishing, jigging, and drift fishing. These trips are best for people who want to have the possibility of catching a once-in-a-lifetime fish. Target species can include Gag grouper, Vermillion Snapper, Gray Snapper, Black Bass, Amberjack, Mahi Mahi, King Mackerel, Triggerfish, and many more.

We will start the morning catching bait. Then take a one-hour ride to the tower to start catching amber jacks. These guys pull like donkeys! It is a really good fight. With the remaining time we will troll closer to the inlet to completely fill that fish box! 10-hour offshore trip focused mainly on bottom fishing, with the option to mix in some trolling. We'll be targeting a wide variety of species depending on conditions. This trip is very weather dependent.

Just a short ride from the inlet, we fish productive reefs, wrecks, and live-bottom areas where bait and predator fish gather. Depending on the season, we commonly target Spanish Mackerel, King Mackerel, Red Drum, Grey Trout, Bonito, and a variety of bottom species. Start times can often be flexible — just ask when booking
