We were greeted by Steven and Duncan bright and early on Saturday the 24th of April. It was low tide so it was tough to get the boat in the water but Steven made sure we got out to open water with no trouble. After a 30 min trip, we arrived at our first spot near the seal island and after no time we were catching fish left, right and center! It was such an amazing experience, the knowledge shared by the deck hand and skipper was incredible. We learnt about the different fish that we caught and were able to take home our catch. I would highly recommend doing this as it really is something to tick off the bucket list.

We enjoyed a truly beautiful fishing trip along the Cape coast! Left early in the morning to witness a stunning sunrise on the water, spent the day trolling and dropping for reef fish, returned in the early afternoon with a full coolbox, and great memories!

Highly recommended, definitely worth your while if you’re in Cape Town!

It was an amazing experience to go on a fishing Trip with Byron! His knowledge guided us to lots of Fish. Eventually he even provided great recipies to prepare the fish for a proper braii! Highly recommended!

Was a overall great trip, great crew, unfortunately did not get the target fish but the skipper and his crew went the extra mile, we caught a good couple of fish to split between us and have a lekka braai to end the day off.

The experience of Capt Steve and Duncan made it look easy, and me look good. Weather cooperated and so too the fish. Everything you’d need was on the boat, with technique tips from the crew rounding out exactly what was required to feed the need of the tug. Wouldn’t hesitate to do it again with Stiek Yt.
