september was good but have to watch weather, it rained heavy on us for short period both days. you can bring a cooler to put your cut up fish in, use frozen ice paks and you’ll get through TSA or put on plane as checked luggage. far cheaper than trying to ship

Venice is full of charters and has excellent fishing. Charters are one piece of the experience, the Marina operations (food, lodging, etc) is another. Venice marina lodging is rustic, to say it nicely.

Venice is not your typical family tourist stop. Lodging and food options are minimal. One of my favorite places because of this but, prepare accordingly.

It used to be a great time to fish but it’s not like it used to be. If I was a first time angler I’d wait until October to fish for tuna behind the shrimp boats.
