We fished just south of the lighthouse, water can get a bit “sporty” there, so make sure to understand the water conditions to select a location that is comfortable for all depending on your “sea worthiness”

Make sure to take a Dramamine the day before your trip and the day of your trip! You never know what type of water you will be getting, and it can be rough! If you aren’t used to it, it can be a struggle!

If you bring kids be mindful there is an age restriction for participation! Please do your research. Also patience is key, it took a minute for them to bite but we caught quite a few over time. Communicate with your charter captain or company & make sure to hydrate!

Be prepared for trolling the entire 1/2 day Take seasick medicine- You will catch Mahi- If staying at condo- Take filets home for lunch/dinner-Simple prep- pan fry with salt/ pepper & oil- You will love it! Charter “ Dorothy “ Not the prettiest boat but Captain & mate were hard working & EXCELLENT!??????????

Be prepared for big waves due to wind. Might want to bring Dramamine. We didn’t use any and no one got sick but a couple of us were nauseous. Weather was great though. Some sun, some clouds.

Def bring sunscreen or be a seasoned angler who’s out in the sun a lot. The boat is impeccable! Very great gear and you can tell Capt Tom takes care of his equipment! Lots of shade on the boat.
