I fished a 6 hour (3/4 day) in the ICW with Rex and Stacy Saturday and the fishing was HOT. We kept 7 speckled trout from 16 to 19.5", 3 redfish from 19.5 to 24", 5 blues from 13 to 15". I really don't know how many fish we caught. I know we released at least a dozen short black drum, 15-20 short reds, 20+ short blues and some small trash fish. We fished Cajun Thunder rigs with live shrimp for trout/blues the first half of the trip and that worked well. We switched to jig heads and shrimp / fiddler crabs / dead shrimp at the second spot for the reds and caught reds, drum and bluefish. The third spot was game on for small black drum with jig heads and dead shrimp. Had a ball fishing with you and look forward to doing the offshore trip this summer. See you on the pond, Capt. Guy
