Captain Jim and his wife were amazing hosts. Communication was great during the booking process. They explained everything clearly on the day and with a great sense of humour. We got off to a slow start in terms of bites but Jim tried lots of different techniques to entice the fish and we ended up landing 4 decent salmon. Thoroughly enjoyable day out on the lake.

These guys are great for family trips.  My nephew and I are experienced fishermen, my two grandsons 12 and 13 knew nothing of this way of fishing.  We had work hard to find active fish but they did find em.  We all hung in there and caught the fish that bit.  Everyone of us caught fish, and none got away.  Great trip

Highly recommend Blue Max Charters! Capt Jim and Anita are great guides. Both made the fishing trip enjoyable, informative and successful for my family. We were on the fish as soon as Capt Jim started setting up the trolling gear. Anita expertly maneuvered the boat where all of us had the best chance to experience reeling in a salmon. Capt Jim provided us information about Milwaukee river area and the industries and buildings along the river banks. Will definitely charter them again.

We had a great day with Blue Max charters on Lake Michigan in early May. It was a beautiful day and the Coho were very active. Planning on a return trip next year!
