Dear Richard, I am surprised and quite shocked at your review of our boat and Captain. I understand that the fishing charter that you booked with us was not what you had expected. Unfortunately the type of fishing that you wanted that day was not possible due to it being too windy. Our Captain explained the situation to you, offered to trawl but you decided to come back to shore early. I met you on the beach, we discussed the situation and we agreed there had been a miscommunication regarding the type of fishing you wanted and as a gesture of goodwill I refunded you more than half of the monies you had paid for the trip. For you to give us such as bad review without any explanation is very surprising, especially when I found out later that your wife have been rude and abusive to the Captain. I suggest for future fishing charters that you book you make it very clear what expectations you have so that the experienced captains can advise whether they can meet your expectations in the waters they fish in.

Fished a 3/4 day with Gerald and my son was able to catch, land and release a beautiful sailfish! We also saw several pods of dolphin, numerous sea turtles, numerous flying fish and a squadron of manta ray! We caught a couple of other small, trash fish but the sailfish really was the cherry on top of a great trip. Fishing was slow but Gerald worked hard the entire time!

Captain Gerald was very knowledgeable about the local water and came prepared. My groups target goal was to catch rooster fish however was unable to accomplish that goal because rooster fishing had been slow. Captain Gerald did make every attempt to hit that goal. He battled extremely windy conditions which prevented us from Captain Geralds targeted spots for Rooster fishing. We are in the windy season now but the ocean is coming up trumps with so many different types of fish being caught. You will just have to come back again to try for that rooster fish! Fishing Capullo Sportfishing was a great experience. Louise (owner) was very helpful and even met us at the beach before our trip. Our guide Gerald was outstanding in make out trip a success. He worked consistently from start to finish on our trip. He is excellent in targeting Roosterfish, which we did catch. I highly recomment Capullo Sportfishing.
