Caught a lot of fish. Limit of trout and almost a limit of black drum went into the ice box. Many many more were released that were too small. Boat and Guide were excellent!  New boat and experienced Captain. I have my own boat but nothing beats having a fishing guide that is on the water EVERY DAY.

Robert Carr is nothing short of extraordinary.  This man knows what he’s doing and works his tail off to put you on the fish.  He literally never quits. This was definitely a tough day on the water, weather was slightly balmy, overcast and windy.  Rob never gave up.  I’m not sure how he keeps his cool and level head and stays in the game. He’s great with the family.
This was my family’s first ever charter, in any water, and he set the bar ridiculously high for any future guides/charters.  He is non-stop actively working to find the fish, even when it’s pretty obvious that things aren’t working out as expected. Add to that he has no quams with sharing his knowledge,  and I’m the kind of guy that asks questions.
Thank you Robert for a fantastic 1st experience.  We very much look forward to future days on the waters of Corpus Christi with you.  You are definitely an easy eleven out of ten!
