Galveston Fly Fishing Charters

Families with kids love this trip. You will target Black and Red Drum, Shark, Speckled Trout, Spanish Mackerel, Sheepshead and many more! For very small children, parents should contact the captain prior to the trip. He will arrange smaller life vests. No experience is needed - Capt. Michael will be with you every step of the way. If you don't have the time to spend a whole day on the water, take this half day trip. The captain will cover your fishing equipment and fresh water. Live bait comes at an extra cost if you want to use it. You need to purchase your fishing license and bring some food for the day.

Head out first thing in the morning to catch the early bite of a range of exciting and delicious fish in Texas' productive inshore waters. Spend at least 5 hours on the water, going after Redfish, Trout, Flounder, Sheepshead, Mackerel, Catfish, Shark, and many more tough-fighting species. Using light tackle, you'll get the most out of your time aboard, and each of the beauties will test your skills to the max. Live bait is available at the customer's expense.

Don't let the length of the trip fool you! You will have just enough time to check the hot spots for Redfish, Flounder, and Seatrout. All the fish you decide to keep will be cleaned and filleted when you return to the shore. A dozen Croakers are at the price of $10USD. A quart of Live Shrimp is $20USD. This is an inshore trip.

This action-packed trip gives you the option to go for the big one. On this trip, you usually target the hard fighting Tuna and Billfish that call the Gulf of Mexico home. While at the fishing grounds, we will also target deep-water species, such as Tilefish and Grouper. Truly a trip of a lifetime! No fuel charge and fish cleaning included. The 5-hour trip is your best bet for some big fish action on a limited budget and schedule. This trip produces large Red Drum (Bull Red) (licenses should have a Red Drum tag), small Sharks, Gulf Trout, and sometimes Red Snapper. Your captain will search up to 40 square miles of nearshore waters. Once the best fishing grounds are located, the captain will attract fish and begin a feeding frenzy with a chum line from an anchored or drift position.

1-3 person trip, fishing 4-5 hour duration. Trip is inclusive of all fuel expense, rods, reels and tackle needed. Live bait is available at additional cost. Artificial lures available by request. Target redfish, speckled trout, flounder and black drum. Other species by special request. All catch will be cleaned, bagged and iced for trip home. First time fishing friendly...! On this trip, you will focus on fishing some of the famous shallow water reefs and flats around Galveston Bay. More of a backwater-style trip you will spend the majority of the time fishing oyster reefs, drop-offs, cuts, and other various shallow water locations. This trip can consist of some longer boat rides as compared to our jetty trips but is normally conducted in calm protected waters.

Spend a full day sight casting for redfish on the fly using top-tier equipment and custom hand-tied flies. Step aboard a Sabine Skiff and glide through miles of Texas marsh as we pole shallow waters in pursuit of tailing Redfish.
