Portugal Amberjack Fishing Charters

This seven-hour mixed fishing trip offers both game fishing and bottom fishing. During this trip fishing we do bottom fishing with live and dead bait. We target Red Snappers, Trigger fish, Amberjack, White Trevally, Scorpion fish and much more. During the big game session, we target big game as per their season, generally Tuna in Spring and Autumn, Wahoo in Autumn and Blue and White Marlin June to August. All fishing tackle is included as well as snacks lunch and drinks.

Inshore bottom fishing and trolling, we start this trip trolling along the south coast of Ponta Delgada targetting mainly barracuda, bonito, enchovea etc. half way to the trip we stop in strategic spots to do bottom fishing where you can reel in some Triguer (good figther), groupa, bream, macreal etc... It is a good trip for families with small children,( great fun )

We will troll for species such as Wahoo, skipjack tuna ,mahi mahi, barracuda and small bill fish, until we reach our favourite bottom fishing marks where we can live and dead bait for species such as pargo, trigger fish, hog fish etc.

If you don't have the time for a full day adventure, this is the trip for you. Head out on the water for 4 hours and target nearshore and offshore species, such as Mahi Mahi, Barracuda, Bonito, Snapper, and many more. Your fishing equipment is covered by the crew.

This is a 4 hour trip where you'll be bottom fishing for a variety of local species.

A full 7-hour bottom fishing trip covering multiple coastal spots around Madeira. More time on the water means more opportunities to target Amberjack, Grouper, Snapper, and other reef species. The boat anchors at each spot while you fish with hand tackle, a relaxed pace with plenty of action. All tackle, bait, snacks, and drinks included. Catch is cleaned on board. Departs from Funchal Marina, typically between 8:00 and 9:00 AM. Later departures available on request.

Bottom fishing in the various fishing spots of the eastern part of Madeira Island, always using fresh bait, and a light trolling along the way is always a good idea, as a predator might come looking for us.

This is a half day nearshore bottom fishing trip. Drinks, snacks and all of the fishing gear is included.

The fishing spot will be in the Tagus estuary, normally trips are 4 hours long but can be redefined. We have minimum number of clients \value to do the trip. Please send us message if you have any question

Heading out of the port at arround 8 am at fast pace to reach the best fishing grounds in little time! Then we either start trolling some lures in search of barracuda, snapper, Atlantic Bonito, amberjack and bluefish, or also have the option to just troll for wahoo at faster pace. If not trolling, we stop the boat, send our jigs down and start jigging to entice some predatory bites, if the client has preference or fishing conditions are dificult we sometimes also use dead bait
