Nags Head Amberjack Fishing Charters

This trip we fish in the ocean or sound depending on the weather at the current time

this trip we can venture a little further off shore fishing some wrecks or other hot spots for sea bass trigger fish or what happens to be in season

Leave the dock early before it gets hot. Pull out at 6:00 return at 12:00. A 6 hour trip allows me at times to run further and adds more fishing time in the zone than regular half day trips. On these trips we split up the time. At first we just try to get some fish in the box then we try to catch some larger on the next half of the trip.

This trip that is focuses on the rich inshore or nearshore waters, depending on your wishes and the conditions on the day. You and your welcoming crew will chase the best game fish, from Redfish to Cobia. The departure time is 7:00 a.m. and the trip will last for a whopping 10 hours. Make sure that, before you come aboard, you purchase some food and drinks for the duration of the trip.

On a Gulfstream full day trip, you venture out 40 miles to the waters of the Gulfstream. There you seek to find Yellowfin Tuna, Bigeye Tuna, Bluefin Tuna, Mahi, Sailfish, White Marlin, Blue Marlin, and anything else that may bite the hook. Typical departure times are discussed with the client but will usually be around 5:00 a.m. You typically return in the late afternoon or whenever the boat is full!

You will fish in the ocean within 1-3 miles off the beach. Species targeted include Spanish Mackerel, Bluefish, False Albacore, Cobia, and Seabass. This trip allows the captain to move around to other fishing opportunities. This trip is a good choice for children, families, and anglers of all ages. The spacious cockpit and salon provide ample room in sun and shade. A fighting chair and 2 fishing chairs are available. Bring enough to eat and drink as well as sunscreen to ensure a comfortable experience.

Full-day nearshore is a 8hour trip where we make it out of the inlet into the ocean but stay close to the beach. 20% tip is customary to mates

This nearshore trip allows us to fish for a variety of fish farther from the inlet. You will be looking for Bluefish, Spanish Mackerel, King Mackerel, Amberjack, False Albacore, and Cobia. This trip is a great way to relax and fish all day without having to leave the dock early in the morning. If you are targeting Cobia, this is a recommended trip. Seasonal.

This trip will be a all dayer . We will head out early in the morning hang a right at the seabury and run about 14 miles. At that point in time we will drop our rigs in trolling for whatever might bite which are blue fish Spanish mackerel false albacore and then slowly head out off the beach where the fish get bigger. We will end up on a couple racks and on a pile of rocks searching for some of the best fish that you can eat and let's don't forget looking for a good fight. This will be a 10-hour

On this trip, we run approximately 30 miles out to the tower and catch amberjacks. Catching these fish on lighter tackle is not only a challenge - it's a blast!
