Ocean Isle Beach Black Drum Fishing Charters

Join Captain Harvey for a 4-hour inshore fishing charter in calm, protected waters — fishing the Intracoastal Waterway, tidal creeks, marshes, and backwaters away from the open ocean. We'll target a variety of inshore species including Redfish, Speckled Trout, Flounder, Black Drum, and Sheepshead. Lure fishing and/or bait fishing Family-friendly—no experience necessary. All gear, bait, tackle & licenses provided. A private restroom is onboard. This is a private charter for up to 4 anglers.

Inshore fishing for Flounder, Red Drum, Trout, Sheepshead, and Black Drum. Half day trips are great if you're bringing your kids along. Your captain will provide all necessary fishing equipment and bait, while you can bring your snacks and drinks.

We are close to inlet, so no hour long run in and out, which means more fishing time than the others! Rise and shine! And traveling up to about 6 miles offshore. Here, you'll be targeting species like King & Spanish Mackerel, Cobia, Barracuda, Bonito and Shark. We base the distance of the trip on the species of fish that are in season. Nothing beats a quick trip on the water for some rod-bending action!

Half day charters are perfect for backwater fishing in the Ocean isle beach. This gives you enough time to find fish and enjoy the beach's backwater. The trip is great for getting back to the dock after fishing and you are able to enjoy the rest of your day on the beach with family and friends!

Come aboard with Capt. Johnny and spend 4 hours on North Carolina's beautiful waters. You can catch inshore and nearshore species such as Flounder, Speckled Trout, Redfish, and Black Drum. The trip starts at 8:00 a.m.

On the 4-hour inshore trip, we will be fishing in the backwaters of Brunswick County, in the creeks, rivers, and Intracoastal Waterway. On these trips, we target species such as Black Drum, Red Drum, Flounder, Speckled Trout, Whiting, and Sheepshead. Come aboard and join the fun!

Inshore charter in the Intracoastal Waterway (ICW). Species and catch vary depending on the season, water temperature, time of day/year, weather, etc. ***Weather Conditions Permitting*** We can go into the ocean for nearshore fishing if the seas and weather conditions allow. We WILL NOT know this information until the day of the trip. Safety is and will always be our #1 priority. Thank you for your understanding.

This trip is designed to introduce young kids to the fishing experience without exhausting them with a long day. This trip is about action! We will be trying to catch anything willing to bite a hook. Keeping kids engaged in the whole process of catching bait, playing in the live well, and educating them on the species of fish they are catching. This does not necessarily mean this is just for kids. If your family just doesn't have time for a longer trip we can make it happen in just 2 hours.

This trip is to the Frying Pan Tower. It's primarily bottom fishing. The fishing is great and it's awesome to see the Frying Pan Tower!
