Wrightsville Beach Black Drum Fishing Charters

This is a high catch ratio fishing trip for the younger kids. Catch and release only. We target croakers, spot, puffer fish, pinfish, pigfish, sand sharks, and stingrays. We cater to younger kids 4-12 years old. As a father of 3, the captain knows what it takes to keep the kids busy, and have a good and safe time! Gratuity is not included and is typically 10-20%.

You and the captain will be fishing shallow water areas. You'll fish on light tackle and use both artificial bait and live bait. Sight fishing is a delicacy as it's exciting to see the fish in the water before it takes a bite!

An inshore/nearshore trip targeting a variety of species such as redfish, flounder, trout, striper, black drum, sheepshead, and spanish mackerel. Captain Pierre provides all the gear necessary for the trip!

The 4-Hour trip is a great option for families and more experienced anglers alike. We usually limit this trip to 6-8 miles offshore. Depending on conditions and experience many different techniques can be used to catch our target species. This nearshore trip will consist of trolling/casting for Spanish Mackerel, Bluefish, King Mackerel, and False Albacore and/or bottom fishing nearby reefs and wrecks for Red Drum, Black Drum, Weakfish, and Grunts.

Strike Charters ½ day, 4-hour inshore fishing charter offers a fishing experience that's perfect for anglers of all skill levels. Clients can target any inshore species, including redfish, trout, and flounder. This trip is excellent for the experienced angler but also perfect for introducing kids to fishing or squeezing in some fun on the water during a busy vacation schedule. Start time and location will vary based on tides, best fishing location at the time, and weather!

Just a short ride from the inlet, we fish productive reefs, wrecks, and live-bottom areas where bait and predator fish gather. Depending on the season, we commonly target Spanish Mackerel, King Mackerel, Red Drum, Grey Trout, Bonito, and a variety of bottom species. Start times can often be flexible — just ask when booking

This price includes 3 anglers. A fourth angler is additional $50. We will target nearshore and inshore species like spanish, bluefish, red fish, trout, black drum, and sheepshead.
