Long Island Bluefish Fishing Charters

This trip will take you further out than the 5-hour one and you can go after a wide range of species. Your captain will provide all the gear, lures, and bait you need for a successful trip. Pack enough drinks and snacks to keep you going and you're all set! Later departure times are available upon request.

Seasonally it’s sometimes a better option to head to BI for a better success rate

On these trips we target tauotog or better known as black fish. These fish like to hide in the rocks of the local reefs and we target them using light tackle and bait. They are prozed fighters and there meat is delicious white flakey that resembles lobster.

Benefit from 50 years fishing Jamaica bay & Raritan Bay. Light tackle sight casting artificial and live bait for trophy Striped Bass. You will be actively fishing/no trolling on this boat. Be prepared for action.

Bass & bluefish are exciting fish to catch early in the season as These fish migrate to the north. Durring the morning these fish can be found feeding on the surface marked by seabirds diving on bait. Our Half-Day Inshore trip is one of our most popular charters! On this trip you'll spend the afternoon fishing for your choice of Stripers/Bluefish OR Fluke/Sea Bass (please tell us your preference in the comments section upon booking!). This is the perfect trip for anglers of all skill levels. Typically, we fish off of Block Island and sometimes closer to Newport, depending on where the fish are. We depart at 1pm and return at 6pm.

Striper fishing will include trolling, live baiting or jigging depending on the bite. The south shore of long island gets an unbelievable spring and fall migration of Striped Bass. Truley somthing eveyone should experience in their lifetime. The benifit to booking the longer trip for Striped Bass allows us fish accordingly. Weather you want to catch them by jigging, top water or trolling. After catching the daily limit for dinner time we can then travel into deeper water targeting giant Bass pushing 50lbs
