Westerly Flounder Fishing Charters

This trip is a light tackle trip targeting Fluke and Sea Bass ranging farther afield in Gardiners Bay & Montauk. This trip is for 4 anglers and will be timed around optimal tide cycles. This trip is approx. 6 hours including running to and from the grounds.

We’ll be targeting striped bass and bluefish at Block Island.

On these trips we target tauotog or better known as black fish. These fish like to hide in the rocks of the local reefs and we target them using light tackle and bait. They are prozed fighters and there meat is delicious white flakey that resembles lobster.

Our Half-Day Inshore trip is one of our most popular charters! On this trip you'll spend the afternoon fishing for your choice of Stripers/Bluefish OR Fluke/Sea Bass (please tell us your preference in the comments section upon booking!). This is the perfect trip for anglers of all skill levels. Typically, we fish off of Block Island and sometimes closer to Newport, depending on where the fish are. We depart at 1pm and return at 6pm.

A 6 hour fishing trip can take us further out with more fishing time. Departure time 0800 but we are flexible with times.
