Oregon Lingcod Fishing Charters

This is a private trip that focuses on catching Rockfish in the nearshore waters. You can also catch some Lingcod & Cabezon, as they like to hang out in the same areas. Captain Greg will provide the gear and the knowledge, so all you have to do is make sure you listen and bring lots of positive energy. There is a capacity for 4 adults +1 child. Boat is crowded with 5 adults. The maximum weight on the boat is 1000 lbs per group, for safety and comfort reasons. Crabbing can be added for an additional fee.

You'll go after Coho and Chinook Salmon! Luckily, you don't have to go too far offshore to reach them, only 5 miles will do the trick. You could be trolling or bottom fishing. The captain uses fresh anchovies as bait. They will be prepared before the trip and included in the price.

From April to December, Chinook fishing in the Tillamook Bay is nothing short of superb and you can frequently hook 50 lb lunkers. Crabbing is also an option, just talk to the captain before the trip. Remember to bring your fishing license, snacks, drinks, and food.

4-hour trip Fishing depends on the season and location. Locations: Siletz River, Lincoln City Wear good traction shoes, bring warm and waterproof clothes if there will be inclement weather, food, drinks, and necessary licenses. Everything included for fishing.

This is a new trip offering for 2025. We will be spending a couple hours on the open ocean in pursuit of rockfish and lingcod, then will make our way into the mouth of the river and target king salmon for the remainder of the day!

If you want a fun day and plenty of fish for an epic fry, this trip is for you. Ocean crabbing is closed from 10/16–11/30, while bay crabbing is open year-round. Includes crab cleaning & cooking.

Dropping a line for toothy and tasty lingcod is one of our most underrated fisheries in Astoria. The habitat in our area naturally concentrates these fish into just a few points which means that when you get into them you can start bringing up doubles on the same line! Rockfish can be a quick way to load up for a big batch of fish tacos as well.
