Newport Lingcod Fishing Charters

This is a private trip that focuses on catching Rockfish in the nearshore waters. You can also catch some Lingcod & Cabezon, as they like to hang out in the same areas. Captain Greg will provide the gear and the knowledge, so all you have to do is make sure you listen and bring lots of positive energy. There is a capacity for 4 adults +1 child. Boat is crowded with 5 adults. The maximum weight on the boat is 1000 lbs per group, for safety and comfort reasons.

Spend 4 hours on the waters out of Newport or Depoe Bay Harbor. Dip your feet in the water and see what all the fuss is about. Bottom fish to lure Halibut, Lingcod, Seabass, and more, while you can also troll for delicious Salmon as well. Everything you need for a productive day of fishing is provided, just bring some snacks and make the most of it.

Embark on an 8-hour adventure and fish for Halibut in 200 feet of water or less. This fish in the shallows is of nice quality but is tough to capture. You and the captain will depart at 7:00 a.m. and return at 3:00 p.m. The trip is a true Halibut hunt.

The day starts with leaving the south beach docks and setting Crab pots off the shore. You and the crew then head out for the Coho Salmon grounds and troll until you fill your limits. If time and ocean conditions allow, you will then do some rock fishing inshore and finally pull your Crab pots and head in.

Lingcod/Rockfish trips are a great way to get out on the water and catch some excellent tablefare. We will target Lingcod, several species of Rockfish, and Cabezon when the season is open. Trips are usually back to the dock by lunchtime with coolers full of excellent table fare. Lingcod/Rockfish trips are great for people who are new to ocean fishing since they are shorter trips and closer to shore. This is a private trip with only your party aboard. Crabbing can be added for an additional fee.

This trip is a 5-hour trip fishing for Black, Blue, and Deacon Rockfish, as well as the occasional Lingcod and Canary Rockfish. This is a near-shore trip, with an abundance of sea life spotted on most trips. In 2025 the black rockfish limit is reduced to 4 fish per angler and may be increased to 5 in July Crabbing can be added for an additional $30 per person. We throw pots for Dungeness Crab, with cooking available. Trips are usually back to the dock by about noon with coolers full of excellent table fare. Bottom fish trips are great for people who are new to ocean fishing since they are usually shorter in duration and closer to shore. This is a private trip with just your party on board.

This is a awesome trip to have a great time and put a good amount of food in the freezer.

You will target Lingcod, several species of Rockfish, and Cabezon when the season is open (7/1 - 12/31) Trips are usually back to the dock by about noon with coolers full of excellent table fare. Bottom fish trips are great for people who are new to ocean fishing since they are usually shorter in duration and closer to shore. This is a shared charter. We will take up to 6 guests total and need a minimum of 3 people to make trip happen.

This trip will be out of Newport, Oregon for up to 5 people for $1600 for the boat. We will be targeting Halibut, but could get some other species of fish you’ll be able to take home to.
