This trip is by far the captain's most popular fishing excursion, and your best chance to catch a big Sailfish, Marlin, or Mahi Mahi if you go offshore. Reeling in a big game fish is something you will never forget. You can also choose to stay inshore and maximize your chance of getting the most delicious fish out there. The professional crew will assist you every step of the way.

if you're not an avid fisherman, this is just what you need to get you started. Join with your family or friends and start this half-day journey. Target various inshore species and learn the basics of fishing. Fishing licenses are not included and also lunch is not included on Half Day trips. If the trip starts at the Marina, there's an additional $40 entrance fee, but if the trip starts next to Bahia Azul restaurant, there's no additional charge.

The inshore trips fish inside 15 miles. On these trips, you can target Snook, Roosterfish, and bottom species. If pelagic fish are within your range, you can troll as well for Sailfish and Mahi Mahi. All trips are tailored to your needs and the crew will only make suggestions.

Whether it's your first time offshore or your 100th, you'll have stories to remember. You'll run 15–30 miles offshore into the deep blue Pacific waters off Quepos, Costa Rica, an area known for its strong currents, rich bait, and epic pelagic action. This fishery is famous for clean water, big life, and year-round action. We fish proven offshore structures, current lines, color changes, and floating debris where predators are active. Bahia Uvita is known for its excellent deep-sea fishing, which remains good all year round, making it one of the best fishing destinations in Costa Rica. Offshore fishing is done from 20 to 40 miles offshore in deep water, where guests will find fish, such as Mackerel, Snapper, Wahoo, Mahi-Mahi, Yellowfin Tuna, Black Tuna, Sailfish, and Marlin. Your booking accommodates up to 6 adults.

Black Snapper II can go out as far as 40nm offshore fishing for Marlin, Sailfish and large Tuna. Most days we don't need to go nearly that far offshore, though. Included are drinks, snacks and a sandwich, as well as all of the fishing gear and bait.
