I fish the northern midwest where its totally different .. down here there are so many cool fish swimming around, with the right baits and a little good guidance you can easily catch fish literally all day.

Ethan Salsbury
Yes! He is very informative whether you know anything about fishing or not. Informs you on how to hold the pole and line.
Our weather forcast was not great, he took us to a place to still catch fish even with windy conditions. He really cares about his clients and makes sure you all have a great time!

Tom Herttna
Learn how to flip your bait. It pays off to be able to get your bait in some pretty tight spots. That's where the big ones are. You definitely don't want to be decorating the mangroves with hooks all day . Learn to flip!

Contact a ton of guides and see what you think but get ahold of Andres Avimar Fishing Co and for sure you can make up your mind from there. I get that answer from several other guides I contacted October is slow season maybe it is coming up but contact various guides and see who sounds the best for sure I know which one does, I had the best..

Check weather conditions and speak with the Captain on what the plan will be if weather conditions are not good. This charter provided bottled water and ice. Captain advised that if we wanted to brink other drinks and food we could. We appreciated the information he gave us.

James Peagler
Don’t be fooled by good marketing. Lots of charters out there who have no idea what they are doing but have a boat and good marketing. Look for a captain that has been fishing for decades and has already made his business.

Dillon Kohler
Give yourself longer than half a day. There are many ways to fish (trolling, drifting, anchoring up, flat lining) not all fish are biting at the same time. So you want time to try out everything and catch as many fish as possible. If you can only do a half day, you may not be fully satisfied.

Mary Prestel
Pack your beer and sunscreen! If you are from out of town and you want to take home your catch, Publix sells dry ice for your cooler. The airlines will let you carryon the cooler with no more than 5 pounds of dry ice.

Steven Mattli
Just beware a dang cold front and dual thunder/lightening storms in early morning and afternoon. Guide was great and got us on the fish even in those challenging conditions but dang it was some work!

Fishing in Miami in July is fantastic due to abundant marine life, perfect weather, skilled guides like Captain Peppe, delicious fresh seafood, stunning scenery, and family-friendly options. It's a must-try experience for anglers.

Captain Bryan was very friendly and helpful. While the fishing was slow, mostly due to the weather, he did what he could to help us land some fish. Although we didn't catch any "keepers", we did catch some good fighters. Would definitely book again.

in 4 hours fishing schedule, 3 hours will spent navigating to the spot and back...will rest just one hour for you really fish. And if you wanna use your lures or jigs, bring your entire tackles (rods, reels, lines etc), since if you just bring your lures/jigs, you WILL NOT gonna be able to use it with the reels/rods offered by the crew (dont me ask why ¬ ¬)

Read all reviews and ask questions. Ask charter if they are fishing ready upon arrivel. Getting fuel and bait takes a good bit of time away from your fishing trip. This should be done before your time starts.

Capt George was a pleasure to fish with. His local knowledge, background and endless effort is what I look for in a fishing Captain.
I would highly recommend booking with him especially if you are a small group of friends or a family. He makes fishing easy and pleasurable. (As always, more fish would have helped.)

Watch the weather. We lucked out and got a nice, dry, but still a bit windy day. (It rained the day before and the day after.) Chose an inshore charter for this reason, 7 foot seas offshore... Been there done that. Great as it is to catch a sailfish, spending the next several hours seasick is not much fun.

Capt Anthony knew where to go and all the technicalities to have a better chance of catching fish. Highly recommend Capt Anthony and ReelN Tails Charter

Glenn O'connor
Not even a resemblance of what was offered. I think I should have my fee refunded !

John Tyler
Bring Sunscreen, and long sleeve!! And plenty of back muscles for pulling in the big ones!

Michelle Gharib
It was perfect weather to be out on the boat. Wear sunblock. Bring a sweatshirt if it’s windy.

Rodney Vance
If you have never fished for Peacock bass, I highly recommend Captain Rick! It is an experience that you will never forget. This was one of my favorite fishing trip in a long time!

Todd Moran
Weather controls the fish. The captain will do their best to get you in the right place. Be flexible in your times and dates if something needs to change for better conditions.
Stay Fishy!

Paul Haberle
Go to the bathroom before boarding. Have upper body strength. Use sunscreen. Prepare to get wet by ocean waves.

Andra Allen-Kenyon
The wind was crazy and the rain storm cut our trip a little short, but it was part of the experience

Kristen Bergeson
We booked a morning half day trip thinking the weather is more predictable in the morning versus evening. Our weather was great.seas were average.

Eli Viestenz
Do not try and plan in advance, make charter reservations when you get to Miami, weather is very hit or miss.

Go to Islamorada April - June for the big stuff. Miami is good, Islamorada is great. Not that far a drive really.

Get with a real Captain like Captain Chris at Domestic Six Pack Charters. Stay away from the River Rats.

Kash Patel
I recommend just communicating with the captain and he will accommodate to your requests and will respond promptly to any questions or concerns you may have

Bob Sabo
Don't expect to catch what you want. It is fishing. But the experiance is so wonderful and if you are coming from cold country in February it's a plus plus. Sunshine and water you can't go wrong.

Dustin White
Try to go when waters are calm. It was out of our control for our trip but we still had a great time and caught fish. Jorge our captain was great.
