What would you recommend to anglers fishing in Ucluelet, British Columbia for the first time?

Book a spot to camp or hotel well in advance. Ucluelet camp ground was excellent very reasonable $42.00 a day

I would recommend getting a hold of Brent from West Coast ocean charters. He knows his stuff. He's an amazing fisherman we had a great time on his boat and everything was excellent!

Bring clothing for all types of weather. It can be hot and cold on the same trip.

Tail end of the season so would catch more earlier. But we still caught 5 salmon over the 4 hours

Wear several layers. The best fishing is on a cloudy day, but that means no sun to keep warm

Dress for the weather, take some gravol if it's windy to avoid motion sickness.

Bring warm clothes as needed. Be flexible as weather can change your plans by a day or two.
