What would you recommend to anglers fishing in Little River, South Carolina for the first time?

What a great experience! Our grandson caught just about every fish and he couldn’t have had more fun! Capt J was so great! He took care of our needs and was able to adapt the trip to our enjoyment! Leah, his 1st Mate, was so helpful! They were both incredible! We would definitely recommend the trip to others and will be sure to call on him again when we return to Myrtle Beach! A definite 5-star trip!!!

Make sure the captain is fair and truthful that will give you the trip you paid for and take you out to where you payed to fish. Make sure the boat has everything you require for your trip. Learn the boat rules and enjoy. Little River area has so many places to catch your target fish. Check with the news as to what fish are active in given months I would recommend fishing Little River but only with a honest captain that will give you the trip of a lifetime that you paid for. It was just a shame that we did not get the trip we paid @,200.00 total for a 13 hour boat trip and only 2 hours of fishing time.

It can be a bit rough on the way out tk the ocean on certain days. I'm out on my bass boat all the time so I don't get motion sickness but some people might. Id advise to get some dramamine or some sort of motion sickness medication if you've never been in rough water before

Try to come during the more productive times. Randy will for sure know where to put the boat to maximize fishing.

We did go down a couple weeks before the Hurricane but every charter I’ve been on if one thing don’t work you try something else We Didn’t

Excellent Captain. A little too warm to catch the type and the amount of fish we intended to catch. Not the captain's fault. We may go back when it is cooler.

Grew up fishing in Palm Beach County, Florida. I have been away from the coast for over two decades and this was my first time back in a long time. Loved it

Read many reviews, be willing to be flexible because it can get pretty choppy on the day you planned to go out of the intracoastal.

Go out with an experienced charter boat captain. Recommend Fisher of Men with Captain Randy and first mate Doug. Great combo.

Yes, had some younger anglers with us. Captain and Mate were great with all of us.

If fishing in November, you run the risk of cold weather, and the water temperature to drop.

Always be prepared for changes due to weather and be flexible. You will still have a good time.

At the end we caught a great fish, all due to the fine efforts of Captain Ziegler.
