This is mostly a bottom fishing fishery. Fish are generally under 10 lbs., but bigger fish are possible. If you are just looking for a fun day on the water any of the guides here will be great. If you are a more serious angler I would recommend bringing your own gear and be ready to try things your skipper may not be familiar with if different opportunities arise.and be flexible.

Fish with Chilean or bass meat as bait, make sure your line and bait are at bottom of sea floor, when you feel the line bump pull fast and hard to lay the hook, also trigger fish fight pretty hard for so have fun?

FISHING BOOKER......... made it so simple , in the past we have walked the harbor dock, talked to the various capts, and it was time and labor to haggle & accomplish a fishing set up day/price with a Capt. This was made so easy on line, direction was good. And it went extremely well. The price was FAIR & exactly as quoted, the pictures of the capt and boat as shown. We had a enjoyable experience. We had price comparisons on line, could pick our date, time , and price. Worked well for us and would recommend FISHING BOOKER. Roger & Janet Arizona

We caught the fish we were told were likely on half day trip. Would have like to have caught Grouper, Snapper and some larger fish but our expectations were met. Children would be OK depending on age and patience level for 4 hours, but longer might not work. Beware the sun and reflected sun -- hat, long sleeves and pants, sunscreen, protect ears and nose. Food and drink provided a plus. Follow instructions of charter co. on arrival/payment details. Keep company informed of changes in head count.

The fishing here is primarily bottom fishing for smaller fish. A good number of fish caught can be expected. If your looking for bigger game, you need to get further south in the Sea of Cortez.

Didn't know about slacktied and high tide difference and it was a high tide. Was told to go on slack tide which I will keep in mind now.

Not a big pelagic fishery. But plenty of bottom fish for tacos, and a good time...

Make sure the weather is calm if you want to catch anything other than sea bass or trigger fish.

I would recommend just getting out there and seeing what there is, make sure you’re prepared for the sun as well.

This place is great for either beginners or experienced anglers. If you have no experience and want to get hooked on fishing, try a half day trip and you will be back for more.

Make sure you have a captain who knows where the fish are and is willing to move you around to get them. Jefe would be our first choice.

Yes. The volume of fish can be plentiful, albeit smaller fish. Options for larger fish exist, but may be less plentiful. Each angler's decision to make.

Tell your Captain EXACTLY what kind of fishing experience you want. Otherwise, they can putter around the Bay and just catch basic fish. Not a high skill level. Croakers are everywhere.

Remember Dramamine just in case, and eat the fresh catch. Fresh fish is the best.
