It can be a little hot at the end of June, coming into July. There is no shade, so wear the appropriate clothes and sunscreen. Maybe bring a handheld fan. But he took us swimming and it was a fun time.

Yes. Perfect place to start as it is mostly inshore fishing because the water is calmer due to the location between Cape San Blas and the mainland. But you're still at least a mile or two off shore.

Highly recommend Jason and Chasing Dreams charter. Very professional, polite, and a hard working captain. We caught fish all day and once he located the species we were looking for we quickly caught the boat limit. Great day on the water.

Mike Skelton
This was our Christmas vacation. It was stormy the first part of the trip but weather turned perfect last several days. I was a little worried about the fishing but Keven knew his stuff and had our drag screaming before we knew it.

Don’t set your expectations too high. At the end of the day fishing is fishing. A good Captain will do his best and the rest is up to the fish. Sometimes they just won’t bite and other times it’s game on

Cody Kalinowski
It’s a little harder to find the bite when the water is 90 degrees. But that’s July fishing for you. Got to have patience.

Jeremy Buckelew
We caught some fish but only one keeper. It did rain pretty hard for the first hour that we were supposed to be fishing so that may have played a factor in the lack of bites we saw.

Brad Heetland
Absolutely. Once the temp and barometric pressure dropped, we hit a school of fish. We caught 7 different species.

Aaron Davis
Get with Capt Kevin he was great! Super knowledgeable about the local area. Very friendly. 110% awesome guy

Raymond Criswell
This time of year it is impossible to not catch fish. Great area for inshore and offshore fishing.

Ethan Brooks
If you go fishing in St Port Joe, go with Kokomo Charters! Captain Charles put us on fish faster than any charter I have been on.

Cole Robbins
Summer time can be very hard to find the bite inshore but when you do it’s bountiful

Andrew Polinski
Its more than fishing. Its an experience.
Enjoy the bay. See through the water. Fish all day.

Trinity Brandstetter
For us mid September weather was perfect! It was warm outside and the water was pleasantly refreshing but not too cold!

John Pavlov
Definitely. Go earlier in the season if you want a lot of scallops. But if you just enjoy the hunt September is a good time to go

Steve Buttram
According to our captain, the toughest months are June July and August. He helped us catch fish but recommended a different time of year.

Alicia Hammond
Yes! I highly recommend it with the right captain, and Captain Charles is an expert at making it the best fishing adventure!

Lance Campbell
Capt Tim did everything he could control. The water was 89 degrees in the bay and the weather prevented us from going further out.

Matthew Webb
The bay fishing was great! Would recommend for families /kids. Great time catching fish and watching sea life

David Grantham
Start checking the weather as far ahead as you can. Even though our trip wasn't the most ideal weather, sometimes you have to take a chance, and this time it paid off (mostly due to Capt. Charles).

Tony Land
Captain Chris is a great guide for families. He was polite, very helpful, great with our 2 teenagers. The trip was above expectations.

Jacob Kimbel
We had such a great time with Capt Jason. He was a patient and capable teacher to my young son who dominated the catch for the day.
An amazing day… don’t miss this trip.

Amy Farroll
What a trip! Keven was very kind and accommodating to our entire group. We caught multiple fish and had a great time. 10/10 would recommend a trip with Keven.

Pack lots of sunscreen and water. If your not a hardcore angler the more comfortable you are out on the water the easier it is to stay out there and find the fish.

There’s salt water catfish that are venomous, so watch out if you catch one. Otherwise you’ll have the opportunity to catch everything the Gulph has to offer!

Weather was very cold which made fishing conditions less than ideal but we were able to catch plenty of fish anyways.

Tell the captain what you are looking for and want to catch. Captain Andy put us on the fish we was looking for.

A bit early in the season which limited our catch. However, we had clear skies, warm days and cool nights to enjoy. Perfect weather to relax and recharge.

Mike Bihl
We had only one day to fish and it was cloudy and windy but we still had a blast.
