With an 8hr, you have time troll for (Mackerel and Mahi) and drop a live bait to the bottom (for a Snapper or Grouper).

This trip is in the Gulf of Mexico. Go nearshore (nine-miles, state water) and target Florida's Red Snapper! Also on the menu: Cobia, Spanish Mackerel, King Mackerel, Mahi Mahi, Triggerfish, Pompano, and all kinds of Groupers! Florida Wildlife announces the exact season dates mid-Spring each year. With this trip we focus on using slow pitch jig lures. We have all of our anglers setup with a lighter rod and reel combo for ease of use. Everyone will have a slow pitch jig lure and you will send the lure all the way down to the bottom. Once you hit the bottom you will do an up and down motion with your rod. Make sure to hang on because any minute your rod my bend all the way over! At that point reel that fish up! I will personally give a demonstration before any fishing begins. Tight lines!!!

The Captain will take you and your crew offshore from 6am and fish until 4pm. The trip will include all the fishing gear, licenses, bait, fuel charge and as well as cleaning catch. Will target species of fish in season. Also, can target fish out of season but out of season fish will be released.

Expect to head out into the Gulf of Mexicio and fish for a variety of species. While out on the water, there's a high probability of seeing bottle nose dolphins, sea turtles, pelicans and numerous other marine life. After the trip, the captain will fillet your fish and bag them.
