Oregon Halibut Fishing Charters

This is a private trip that focuses on catching Rockfish in the nearshore waters. You can also catch some Lingcod & Cabezon, as they like to hang out in the same areas. Captain Greg will provide the gear and the knowledge, so all you have to do is make sure you listen and bring lots of positive energy. There is a capacity for 4 adults +1 child. Boat is crowded with 5 adults. The maximum weight on the boat is 1000 lbs per group, for safety and comfort reasons.

This is a full day, offshore fishing trip. We will travel 15-40 miles from the harbor into deeper water to pursue these delicious flatfish. We use custom rods and electric reels to make the experience more enjoyable. Everyone will get their own rod/reel setup and high quality baits. While halibut fishing we may also catch rockfish and lingcod. This is a private trip with a maximum of four people so everyone will have more comfort and a higher chance at success.

These trips travel anywhere from 15 to 40 miles offshore to target the tasty Halibut. A bonus to these trips are Lingcod and Canary Rockfish which can be kept this year! The season for 2023 is May 1 thru June 30 with additional dsys based on quota. Summer season is August 3-5 then every other Thur-Sat until quota is reached. Crab can be added to this trip for an additional $30 per person

4-hour trip Fishing depends on the season and location. Locations: Siletz River, Lincoln City Wear good traction shoes, bring warm and waterproof clothes if there will be inclement weather, food, drinks, and necessary licenses. Everything included for fishing.

We use top of the line gear have option of using electric reels or manual reels.

Halibut trips are long days, but oh so rewarding! With an average size of around 15-20 pounds and the potential to catch a giant, this fishery is an amazing adventure from start to finish! Halibut trips are long days as you'll usually travel into deeper water to find this delicious flatfish. Often you'll be 15 miles or more from the harbor, so be prepared for a long day on the water. Halibut like deep, cold water, so we have custom rods and top of the line electric powered reels to make the experience more enjoyable! Spring Halibut season is May 1 - June 30. Summer season runs from July - October on limited days depending on allotted quota. This is a shared charter with up to 6 guests.

You get 2 halibut per person and get rockfish as well.

Nearshore fishing less than 200 feet of water still using electric reels

October through December we will be targeting Coho and King Salmon on Southern Oregon’s Coastal Rivers. Meeting time and location varies. Currently we are targeting salmon in the bay out of my very large, comfortable, open sled. Once the rain arrives we will move to the Drift Boat further up the River.
