We will be chasing Pacific Halibut on this trip. These trips usually require long runs offshore to target these deep water Halibut. We are usually fishing 10-20 miles out & 200'-400' deep. This trip requires a lot of hard work. Catching BIG Butts does not come easy...please be slightly experienced ocean going folk? Note: This trip is NOT recommended for your 1st trip on the PNW Ocean✔️

On a halibut trip we usually run 8 to 10 hours sometimes it's sooner depending on the bite we leave early in the morning and usually get back late in the evening cleaning of the fish is included in the trip . It's usually about a 2-hour boat ride out for halibut . We are going to start fishing we use between three and four pounds of lead to hold the bait towards the bottom occasionally you can grab the rod and jig but mostly it's in the rod holder bouncing up and down off the bottom as the waves come

    Mark is a great.

Mark gave as smooth a ride as possible through some choppy seas. It took awhile, but he kept us on the hunt for fish the entire time. We fished hard even with a sea sick wife on board. He even stretched the time to make sure we went home with fish. On the way in, he gave us some crab from his pots at the inlet. We ate really well on that crab. He also filets the halibut for me so it is cooler ready. Book this man! You wont be sorry. Thanks Mark!!!

    Great Day of Fishing!

We asked Captain Bob if we could catch salmon and halibut in the same trip so that we could send our two favorite fish back to Texas. He got us on both quickly and we even got a nice lingcod, petrole sole, and 4 different types of rockfish. Can’t wait for next year!

Tough fishing conditions, but Captain Del made it happen!

Found a small window to get out on the ocean during the only day that was forcasted to be doable for halibut fishing. Captain Del gave his 100% in spite of choppy seas and stubborn fish and in the bottom of the 9th, we were able to produce a couple of nice models. I look forward to fishing with Captain Del for future trips!
