Bremerton Chinook Salmon Fishing Charters

Salmon in the Puget Sound is plentiful. The type of Salmon you keep depends on the time of year you fish. The varieties are King (Chinook), Silver (Coho), Pinks (Humpy), and Chum. Please be prepared for varying temperatures. You may bring a snack for the boat but please do not bring any bananas. We provide everything you need for fishing, including licenses. You do not need to bring a cooler onto the boat.

This is a shared 6-hour charter that will see you light tackle fishing for Salmon and other species. The captain likes the active approach to fishing where all of the customers can fish simultaneously without taking turns on rods. No sitting and waiting on this trip! If there are only 2 people on a shared charter, the trip turns into a 4-hour private charter at no additional cost.

5 hour trip fishing for local King Salmon or Blackmouth as the locals call them. This is our wintertime fishery from Feb. 1st to March 31st. Unless closed sooner by the State. All Fishing gear is included all you need to bring is any snacks and drinks you like and dress for the current weather. This trip is out of the Brownsville Marina 9790 ogle Rd. Bremerton, WA 98311. Trip departs at 7am. I'll meet you by the wait here sign at the head of the dock and walk you down to the boat

Marvel at the stunning nature as you drift out in search of Salmon. These tough-fighting creatures will be hungry first thing in the morning so get ready for bites as you fish for these feisty Salmon using light tackle. The price includes Washington state and local sales tax 10.35%.

With more time on the water come more opportunities to hook more fish! Capt. Cary will make it his priority to put you on the bite, and you can look forward to finding sizeable Chinook Salmon on your line. Bring your fishing license, dress in layers, and packing your raingear is also a good idea.

We will be fishing for Salmon on the Puget Sound. The species and seasons change throughout the Summer, but there are always some species of Salmon to fish for in Puget Sound from June through to September. We mainly target Coho (Silver) and King (Chinook) Salmon by trolling, but we sometimes mooch for them as well. The departure time may vary slightly based on date, tide, and conditions

Departing at daybreak, we target salmon when they're most active—taking advantage of early light, tide shifts, and ideal feeding conditions in the Puget Sound. Whether you're a seasoned angler or building on your experience, this trip gives you the time and opportunity to go deeper: more casts, more movement, more strategy.

I run two trips per day 7am-12pm or 1pm - 5pm. May through July resident (smaller) coho are targeted. Big summer king salmon when dates open up. August and September we chase spawning coho (much bigger) and pink salmon (every other year in odd number years). 4 people is ideal group size. Can take 6, but boat will be cozy and fishing will be rotated. Flexible pickup locations include: Seattle (Shilshole Marina), Edmonds, Kingston, Everett, Langley (Whidby Island).

Private charters are ideal for groups who do not want to share the boat with anyone else. Your charter fishing departs from Shilshole Bay Marina in Seattle. Just a short ride from downtown Seattle, it’s convenient for locals and visitors alike. We operate between June and October, when fishing conditions are ideal. One day fishing license are $13 per person available at the boat.
