Cape Charles Black Seabass Fishing Charters

The captain knows a range of different fishing grounds for this 6-hour trip. Hit the inshore shallows, the nearshore reefs and wrecks, there's no end to what you can catch. Depending on their season you can possibly target Redfish, Spanish Mackerel, Bluefish, Cobia, Black Seabass, Striped Bass, and more, in which promises to be a fun-filled day out fishing.

Black Seabass trips are great for the entire family and all skill levels. Demand for seabass has forced us to open a specific trip targeting them at the beginning of the summer season. For bigger fish we offer 12 hour Offshore trips. The first mate will assist, rerig and bait hooks as needed. The mate works hard, so a 20% tip is customary.

We will bottom fish reefs and primarily target Tautog in the Cape Charles/Kiptopeke area. Possible bycatch depending on time of year is: Fall - Black Sea Bass & Flounder. Spring - Black Sea Bass, Black Drum.

This is our most popular trip. On this trip, we will be going offshore up to 40 miles to fish the plentiful wrecks in search of trophy fish. These trips average 8-9 hours. Bring your food and drinks, as the captain will provide everything needed. Please tip your first mate at least 20%.

Full day (8+ hours) on the Chesapeake Bay targeting a variety of Cobia, Drum, Flounder, Spadefish, Sheepshead, Tautog, Spanish Mackerel, Speckled Trout, and bottom fishing (Croaker, Spot, Mullet, Bluefish). Most of these trips will involve a variety of Chumming, Sight fishing, and Structure fishing, unless one method is preferred over another. I am there to guide you on what I feel is most productive, however, you book the boat and have control over how you fish!

Fishing the offshore wrecks for seabass and flounder. All bait and Gear is provided. Fish cleaning available for a fee. NOTE: This trip departs from Virginia Beach . Fishermans wharf marina.
