There is an abundance of sharks so understand that you will have to work hard to keep them away from your catch. It is an experience to see them however it is frustrating when they eat everything you catch.

If you want to send fish home check into it way before you go fishing so you can enjoy your catch back at your home also if you want to eat your catch for lunch that day go just down the road to Grill's Restaurant and they cook it up for you we did wow it was delicious.

To definitely contact Captain Jose he's very helpful knowledgeable extremely friendly and knows how to catch fish

Cody Kurpil
We caught what we were looking for and had a fantastic time but it seems if we would have went a little sooner we would have had a lot more action

Kim Shoup
The location is great to meet the Captain. The 8 hour trip goes fast! Stay out as long as possible.

Jose Molina
Contact the captain and asks what's likely to be in seasone, bring plenty of fluids, protection fum the sun is paramount. Plan on a fun day if you book with Capt Robert on the Odyssey.

This is my home port that we fish out of, so I would say that lately fishing has not been as good, but I would always still recommend it. Thermocline has been awful lately.

Spencer Brown
Only down side was the heat, but the breeze while traveling on the boat made it feel like a cool spring day.

Ronald Leong
Go with a captain who meets the needs for your party—make sure to ask all of your questions in advance!

Tony Brooks
Absolutely recommend this captain! He’ll make you feel like family and get you on the biggest fish of your life!

Robynn Ross
Expect to tip the deckhand, who apparently doesn't get paid by the captain. Don't expect to be able to use the toilet.

Mitch Smith
I would recommend that they go out as early as possible. We went midday and the sharks just weren't biting.

Rudy Navarro
Sharks are easy to get hooked up with. Other species were not biting for most captains the day we went out.

We only caught one fish so my kids were disappointed but the crew was great and very helpful. We were given a discount which was really awesome of Pat to offer us.

Chad DeNure
Do your homework to figure out the best time to fish in this area. Other than that, the captain and crew took care of everything.

Jonathan Gray
Do your research on the charter and boat. Make sure the boat pics are up to date.

Live baits, shrimp, pinfish, mullet, etc on a freeline, braid/mono to leader to hook.

Kellis Williams
Make sure to take some motion sickness medicine if you aren’t used to this kind of fishing!

James Lefebvre
Bring sunblock and water. Before noon is much cooler than after noon. High risk of scattered thunderstorms around 3 pm in summer.
The fishing is as good as you have heard.

James Tayse
Eric gave my kids the best experience!! They made memories they will forever cherish! My husband and dad were super happy with the entire experience too! Highly recommend captain eric!

Matt Goeders
Keep an open mind. Fishing might be slow but you might hook on to a big snook that breaks your line like me.

Timothy Griffin
Be prepared for weather - cold or warm. Patience is key, the captains know the best spots they will find the fish!

Definitely layer up. Very cool in the morning and hot during the day. Be prepared with sunscreen and towels, the sun's reflection off of the water is very intense.

Carlos Paz
Very windy which made it a bit tough but as they say, a bad day fishing is better than a good day at work. And it was good day to boot

Chris Williams
This trip was a close to shore trip. Easy for kids. We caught 12 Spanish Mackerel in 4 hrs. Trip was March 8.

Gary Renn
Pick a trip that fits your needs! If you have very young children fish back bay. (6-12)
Older children off shore.

Brad Reese
For sure travel is cheaper between Christmas and tax refund time makes it perfect time for the average man.

Brynn Palmer
In the winter the water can be pretty choppy. Suggest taking motion sickness medications beforehand.

Duncan Gray
Plenty of sharks there, but if the bites not on what can you do. We were in the right place and marked fish. Just none on the boat this time.

John Hoffmann
Fish with Capt. Dave. Has vast knowledge of the waters and target fish for ALL inshore/nearshore/offshore fishing
