This was less than a 1/2 day boat rental and he had the equipment, bait, gear and licenses. He know the area and where to fish. He also taught me a ton.

Mindee Mccurley
Best advice is to get in good with the locals, they know the best spots and the best times. They know tides, and how to target specific species. They also have the best recipes!

Amanda Williams
Request Jose for your captain especially if you are first timers or have younger children. He has the patience of a saint!! Absolutely love him!!

Alex Basti
although these summer months are tough, if you can suck up the heat its still an incredible experience to get out there on the water

Amy Anderson
Fishing in water on the mangroves was a fun day of action, lots of different fish and action all morning.

Gabriel Ruff
Sunscreen is a must as is reapplying regularly, hydration and snacks are equally important. Fishing only twice in my life, I caught many, many fish yesterday and had an absolute blast!

Kyle Gandy
Can be warm, but able to drink and enjoy the time. Recommend sunscreen and a patient attitude. Fish are biting.

Charlotte Bimba
I cannot imagine a better experience for my son and two grandsons! You will not be disappointed with Captain Jack! He is wise beyond his years.

Matthew Ferro
Ask around for a good hook and cook (restaurants that cook/prepare your fresh catch you just caught that day!) we went to Walt’s Fish Market and Restaurant.

Rodney Johnson
Bring a small bag of snacks if you have kid's. And a small cooler. If you want your fillets from different species separated I would bring my own gallon bags.

Ian Mcdonald
Long sleeves and plenty of sunscreen! It’s going to be hot so just accept it and you will have a blast.

Dan Anderson
I only have one data point and don’t know how things vary with season etc. I’d do this again either the same time of year or another time.

Kevin Quier
Captain Bryan is extremely knowledgable of the waters and knows the best spots to go catch a lot of fish! You will have a great experience with him!

Tim Alley
Tide coming in made things a little more difficult with fish behavior, but we still caught quite a few fish of various species.

Frank Kish
May inshore - based on what we caught and what we saw at the dock - expect snook, some red snapper, occasional bluefish, saltwater catfish, kingfish.

Julie Gilles
Fish we caught were out of season or too small. Not a lot of”Good” bites but still had a great time on the water with the family and a fun captain,

James Cella
Spend the extra money and get a bigger charter boat that can handle the gulf in slightly windy conditions

Gary Stratton
Definitely watch the weather! It was windy so we didn’t get on all the big fish we wanted but still a great time and memory we won’t forget

Fantastic. Our trip way exceeded our expectations. Worth you time and money. You will love Jason as much we did. Do not miss this chance!

Mark Mccrite
This is a difficult time of year for some species of fish. The captain DID deliver with what was here and provided a quality, well priced trip.

Willy Hughes
Focus on the overall experience not just the fish. The Captain was fun and worked hard to keep everyone happy.

Mike Sloan
Check the weather and remember to wear more layers that you think you'll need. It can be cold in January.

Eric Anthony
Fish hard and be patient. Fish slow down with the cooler water temps and you may not always get what you’re after but there’s still plenty of action to be found in the winter.

Dustin Davis

Definitely fun fishing for red fish. But whatever you can get on is fun. There are so many areas and a diverse amount of species

(Loreto) Jose Cables
Check with your captain a couple of days ahead of your trip to check boating conditions and be flexible for rescheduling. It can get cold at times out on the water in October, so dress in layers.

I would recommend bringing sun screen and lot of water. Also don't forget your camera because you will be filming great memories.

This was a great first trip out on the Gulf for us! I would recommend to anyone who enjoys fishing.

Go with a boat that has good recommendations and knowledge of what you may be wanting to experience

Amber Wheat
Being from the Midwest, this is more like lake fishing. There was no need for any motion sickness medicine like I need for deep sea fishing.

This was our first time and Darius was prepared. Perfect if you want to get in snook, redfish and trout.
