Rough month to visit Rocky Point but the only time our college age grand kids could come. None of us had ever done a fishing trip and a family member recommended Captain Martin and it was wonderful

Margarita Fishing Adventures
going deeper than inshore because we didnt catch much. This was our first trip and honestly the trip was better than what we expected and we dot have any recommendations.

Eduardo's Sport Fishing
we were there on very hot day and the Margarita had shade screen up. The Captain recommended we bring a cooler and waters to hydrate.

Margarita Fishing Adventures
There can be a small language barrier at times but after all you are in Mexico. Not 100% necessary but translator app on you phone could be handy to have. Bring SUNSCREEN! And have fun.

Margarita Fishing Adventures
Wear long sleeves and a hat. Take sunscreen, waters, maybe a towel, and a plastic bag to carry the freezer bags he'll put your filets in. Take Dramamine, if necessary, and use the potty before getting on the boat. The boat isn't fancy, but its got 6 chairs and the captain works hard to get you fishing in good spots.

La Princesa Fishing Trips
it was our first family fishing trip. The only thing i would have done differently is to make sure everyone took Dramamine before the trip. Kids got a little sick.

Mas Picudos Charters
Be prepared for some wind making choppy water at times. All should take their seasickness meds or patch before going out. We had to come in early out of pity for a couple of guys who were surprised to be sick. The time we spent was a boatload of fun minus 2. Be prepared for a lot of fun and funnyness. Captain made arrangements for food and drink if you'll ask beforehand. All fish was cleaned and filleted before we got back. We ate some as sashimi while out there. Delicious!

If you want a consistent bite, go for smaller fish. Trophy fishing is for anglers who can accept the fact that you might come home empty handed with an expensive charter.

Day we went conditions were nearly perfect, only cautionary advice I would give is that it a can be windy this month and it's still early for some species . We did see a whale and sea lions and dolphins!

While bottom fishing, check your line frequently for any abrasions on your fishing line. We lost a few baits and fish due to the line weakness because of the sharp rocks.
